COVID-19 restrictions and requirements have been implemented in accordance with government regulations for the 2021 Festival.  The Festival of Busselton will remain compliant with all restrictions, which may alter at any time before or during the festival.  We will keep audiences updated with any changes.

We ask audiences to stay home if unwell, practice good hygiene and physically distance from other households. Please download the SafeWA app prior to attending a Festival of Busselton event to allow for quick QR Code scanning on entry. Paper registers will also be available for manual signing if needed. COVID Safety Marshals will be on hand at all Festival of Busselton events to monitor and advise attendees, ensuring the safety of audiences, staff, volunteers, partners and suppliers remains a priority. Further details are available at the Information tent at Festival of Busselton events.

The City of Busselton is a very proud long-time sponsor of the Festival of Busselton. This locally born festival has enjoyed outstanding longevity, and the fact that it continues to be embraced with such enthusiasm is testament to the community’s genuine affection for it.

Long before the region carried the mantle ‘Events Capital WA’; the Festival was delighting locals and drawing visitors. The success of the Festival of Busselton, especially during the early years, paved the way for the evolution of our now truly brilliant event calendar. The Festival offers wonderful opportunities for free family fun and a great excuse to come together with friends to enjoy what’s on offer in the Busselton CBD, foreshore and surrounds.

Festival time is synonymous with summer time here in the City of Busselton and the 2021 programme is packed with events and activities, with a fresh take on some of the classic events as well as the introduction of some new ones. A highlight this year is the addition of the family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration at the Busselton foreshore with live music and fireworks. This year, perhaps more than ever, the importance of re-connecting and enjoying our community with our loved ones has never been bigger. We ask all attendees to look after yourselves and your family’s health, and to adhere to directions given particularly with regard to COVID. Your actions will go a long way to ensuring events like this can continue.

I would like to thank the Festival Committee on their professionalism and dedication in what has been a particularly challenging year. I would also like to acknowledge the numerous volunteers who selflessly give their time, and the other sponsors of the Festival, as it is only through continued local business and community involvement that these free family focused events can remain viable and grow.

Have a safe and happy summer.

The club’s major fundraiser involves selling 1000 raffle tickets each with a ticket number allocated to a toy yellow duck. The ducks get released into the ocean and the race is on - ducks, using the motion of the current with some booms to prevent them straying too far afield, will bob and weave as they race towards the shore. The first 3 ducks over the line will receive cash prizes for their lucky ticket holder! YOU HAVE TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT!
