Congratulations for your successful performance in CLAT-2016. It is our pleasure to

intimate you and your parents that you are placed in the merit list for provisional

selection for the Undergraduate Course(s) of the University. You are hereby requested to

come for Admission process at 9:00 a.m. on

You are required to pay the remaining fees of Rs. 89500/-

at the time of Admission

process in the form of a demand draft in favour of ‘Registrar, National Law University,

Jodhpur’, payable at Jodhpur.

Please ensure that you fulfill the eligibility conditions for admission. The University,

however, may revoke the admission offer on any ground, which makes the candidates

unsuitable for the corporate life and development of the University; say for example, on

account of addiction to alcohol or drug etc.

All students shall stay in the Halls of Residence of the University.

University formal dress is similar to the dress for legal profession as follows

The formal dress for the male students shall be as follows:

White Shirt (Full Sleeves);

White or Black Trouser;

Black Coat/ Blazer;

Black Tie;

Black Shoe;

Black Socks and

The formal dress for the lady students shall be as follows:

Same as male students or

Suit with white top (full sleeves)

Black or White (long skirt/ Trouser)

Students shall be in formal dress at all University functions, and for attending guest

lectures.

While coming to the University, the student must carry original copies of his/her

certificates and mark sheets' and other relevant documents.*

Since the course shall require extensive study, research and continuous guidance,

students shall not be allowed to visit home during the mid-session.

There shall be furniture in the residential accommodation. Students shall bring

with them mattress; bed linen; bed cover; pillow; mosquito net and other personal

belongings. These articles can be bought in Jodhpur market as well.

Soon after finalization of the admission, students can occupy their allotted rooms

in the Halls of Residence. Halls of Residence are managed under the rules of

Halls of Residence. During semester break, students shall be placed with Law

Firms/ companies and NGO’s etc. in their internship program, which is

compulsory for every student. The University shall try and facilitate internship but

the students shall meet their expenses while being at internship.

Fee once paid shall not be refunded unless the fee is refundable or the University

itself revokes the offer, in which case entire fee shall be refunded excepting that

which is chargeable.

Students are advised to keep a Bank Saving Account with the University Bank,

State Bank of India, NLU Branch for which an introduction letter shall be given

by the University. All University transactions shall be done through the Bank

only.

to any reserve category. Medical Certificate indicating that candidate has

attested copy of all).

Candidate not having the migration certificate may write an application to

submit the migration certificate at later date.

a) I will not indulge in any behaviour or act that may be constituted as ragging under clause 3 of the Regulations.

b) I will not participate in or abet or propagate through any act of

commission or omission that may be constituted as ragging under clause 3 of the Regulations.
