elcome to our Special Edition Winter Issue for February 2015. For this issue we collaborated with our West Coast partner Whistler Exposed.

Whistler Exposed is the premier photographer and distributor of the hottest models in Western Canada through their calendar which is available in over 200 stores. Run by the brilliant Shannen Carlson and her talented team, Whistler Exposed is expanding right across Canada and we are thrilled to be involved with them on their journey.

What’s your favorite sport? Hockey and Football are my favs What team?

What’s your favorite movie? Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Who’s your favorite actor? Audrey Hepburn, what beautiful soul she is.

What’s your favorite song? Music is my Remedy. It is so hard to just choose one. I am a big fan of all tunes. One of my favorites is Metric Collect Call by Adventure Club

Who’s your favorite artist? My Tattoo Artist, Lars. Everyday he is always progressing in his work and teaching himself new skills and techniques. Lars is a real inspiration to me.

What was your first job? I worked in a super market in the produce department. I didn’t want to work at the checkout. I wanted a physical job.

Do you have any piercings or tattoos? How many and where?

I use to have my tongue pierced; but, I took that out after I chipped a tooth. So, now just my lil ears are the only things pierced. I barely wear earnings. I have a moustache tattoo on my pointer finger and a beautifully, pissed off Panda Burr on my left foot. Getting more tattoos has really been on my mind lately. I want to get a Tiger on my Right foot; he will be smirking at the angry Panda. Add some balance. I also have this beautiful jewellery wrist piece that I want to get started. I don’t necessarily want every inch of my body covered; I love my skin. I just want to add some life long art to bring along with me. Our body is like a blank sheet of paper; allowing us to write our story.

What’s the most unusual place you’ve ever hooked up? Just off of a hiking trail. It had a great view and was a gorgeous day. You could say that the “Birds and the Bees” were really out that day. What’s one thing you think all men should know?

Just because we talk to you does not mean we want to sleep with you. What qualities drive you wild in a man?

I love a man that is intelligent, passionate, humble, artistic, funny and has a bit of a wild side. Oh and if you can dance and I mean you know fucking dance. That’s hot.

What’s your idea of the perfect date?

I prefer going for a nice hike, ending the night star gazing on my deck over looking the lake. Nice to get outside and breath. Instead of being cooped up inside a stuffy restaurant. I find its easier to relax and get to know each other.

How do we win your heart? With your charismatic charm my friend ;)

On an average Saturday night, what are you doing?

I’m still just getting use to having Saturday nights off. For the last 8 years I have worked every Saturday night in a nightclub. Now, It is a treat to be able to have a relaxing night with my man.

If you could go on a date with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

George Stromboulopoulos, I grew up watching him and his career grow. It would be amazing to sit down with and listen to his stories and his insight of the industry. It’s like a childhood crush ya know… awhile ago he started actually following me on Instagram… I lost my marbles lol… kinda but kept it cool lol What do you feel most comfortable wearing?

Sweatpants and baggy tee’s lol, just like everyone ;) actually life would be complete if I could live in my bikinis. When do you feel sexiest? Right after I have had a great workout. Feels so good to get into the gym and let the day melt away. Afterwards I just feel so great and refreshed. Keep it tight!

How did you get started modeling?

I first showed interest in modeling when I was in elementary school. Our Grade 5 class got to do a fashion show for the stores in the mall. Haha, I actually hated my outfit that they gave me to wear. It was this tacky jumper dress with a matching hat. While everyone else wore something pretty. That didn’t discourage me though; I still rocked the shit out of it. The Seed had been planted.

Who is your favorite model? Honestly, I am so lucky and blessed that I have a good group of close girlfriends who model too and come from the same neigbourhood. So, I can’t say I have one favorite model. It is a handful of all my girlfriends that inspire me everyday. Who are chasing their dreams too. It is amazing to be able to have such a close community, that shares the same passions and desires.

Do you have a favorite behind-the-scenes story from a photo shoot?

When I was in Cancun with IBMS. A group of us went to Tulum to shoot. I had to drive an hour to get there in this tiny ass smart car with gf Carah Munroe; down the Mexican Highway! It was crazy! We were following Greg Aldous; he had to stop to tell us to keep up lol. Thank goodness! We made it in one piece. When we got there the resort gave us the top floor over looking the ocean to shoot at. Spectacular view! It was so much fun only a small group of us and one of my best friends by my side.

Aside from modeling, what are you focusing on these days? I’m looking into getting behind a camera and looking into doing more commercial and acting gigs.

What would your fans be surprised to know about you? While I was growing up I was bullied and picked on constantly. Kids can be really mean. It was super hard and very confusing to grow up with almost everyone around you constantly backstabbing you, turning on you or just hating you for no real reason… It took me a long time to look past it all. I was constantly fighting depression and still do. It took alot of self reflecting to come to terms that it was them and not me. We all have our issues. We just have to remember to live for ourselves, don’t take it out on others and to not let what others think affect us and our souls. Sticks and stones may break bones but words can shatter the soul. Even though it was very hard I would not change my past for anything. I am me; because, of my past. I am strong now today; because, I know the truth now.

It is an honour to be able to join the GUYS family. I feel that we have sat back and watched each other grow in the last few years together. Now I’m happy to join the team and help you grow more!
