The postgraduate MEng Program International Construction Project Management gives professionals the specific theoretical knowledge, the tools and practical experience to excel in the dynamic field of construction business. Increasing complexity within construction projects, new challenges in team-leadership and communication are only a few obstacles a construction project manager faces day to day. In order to meet the demands of this fast moving and fast changing environment it is inevitable to implement alternative, agile project management methods.
Therefore a substantial goal of this program is to supply graduates with transferable skills and give them a
profound understanding of the complexity of international construction projects. This program will challenge its students to question their current thinking and the practices adopted in the face of a rapidly changing global construction industry, and develop their abilities to be innovative and creative in solving unique problems.
The individual modules are designed to provide the base for competent, future oriented and communication driven construction project management. Furthermore participants will also have the opportunity to become part of a unique network of experts. The interdisciplinary part-time MEng Program is offered by the Vienna University of Technology. Tailor-made, international workshops are offered to gain in-depth knowledge and first-hand experience in international construction projects.
