FRIENDS OF DISABLED ADULTS AND CHILDREN (FODAC)
FODAC is a statewide and national provider of home health care equipment—mobility aids and daily living devices for people with disabilities and the newly injured. FODAC provides home health (mobility and daily living) equipment and computers to people of any age or any disability, temporary or permanent, for medically necessary and medically helpful reasons. These items are provided for a suggested donation. Clients do not have to qualify financially but waiting lists place a priority on medically necessary and low income
individuals. Refurbishes donated items and "re-gifts" them (i.e. hospital beds, wheelchairs, and bathroom equipment, etc.) Installs "remount" wheelchair lifts in vehicles, builds ramps and installs chair/stair lifts for a small fee. Has a new "Ramps for Champs" home
