GUIDELINES FOR BAJA SAEINDIA 2016 REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
All participating Institutes need to have an operational collegiate club. All participating, members & faculty advisors should be SAEINDIA members. For Collegiate club details please visithttp://saeindia.org/

Colleges who have just applied for collegiate club can also register for the event, provided they have all relevant documents supporting collegiate club registration completion, like payment proof, copy of acknowledgement of SAEINDIA etc.
Please note that before Virtual BAJA all participants need to have valid SAEINDIA Membership number. Even the faculty advisors need to be register and to carry the membership number.
Team Size:
A team should consist a maximum of 25 members & minimum of 5 members. A team needs to have minimum 1 and maximum 2 faculty advisors.
NOTE – Addition/Swapping of team members are not allowed once team is registered. (However
deletion can be done with approvals from FA and college director – which needs to be notified to BAJA
secretariat). Pl note team can no way add a member in place of a deleted one. Noncompliance to this
rule in event will lead to disqualification
.This year we are keeping registrations for main BAJA and eBAJA under different heads,
which enables the team to register a maximum of 2 teams from one college .i.e. 1 BAJA
team and 1 eBAJA team.
Registration Fee Structure:
A. BAJA Registration ( conventional BAJA )
1st Phase Registration - Participation fees INR 15000 + 12.36% Service tax.
Payment to be done in favour of BAJA SAEINDIA through challan form available on website.
2nd Phase Registration – Teams qualifying VIRTUAL BAJA needs to pay the 2nd phase of registration
amount - INR 35000 + 12.6% service tax.
Payment to be done in favour of BAJA SAEINDIA through challan form available on website.
B. eBAJA Registration
1st Phase of Registration - Participation fees INR 10000 + 12.36% Service tax.
Payment to be done in favour of BAJA SAEINDIA through challan form available on website.
2nd Phase of Registration - Teams qualifying VIRTUAL BAJA need to pay the 2nd phase of registration
amount - INR 20000 + 12.6% service tax.
Payment to be done in favour of BAJA SAEINDIA through challan form available on website.
REGISTRATION FEE WAIVER SCHEME -
To Promote Diversity, BAJA SAEINIDA is introducing registration fee waiver for girl participation in a team. The waiver is only applicable for the second phase of registration.
There will be a fee waiver of 1000 Rs per Girl participation (e.g. If there are 5 girls in a team, the waiver would be 5000 Rs from the registration amount base fee (base fee is the fee which excludes the service Tax)
In case the waiver exceeds the 2nd phase of registration amount (e.g. – In eBAJA Teams, if the no of girls are
above 20, the waiver will exceed the base registration amount, in such a case the waiver would be complete 2nd phase of registration amount).
