Why e-Learning?
With the cost of tuition, travelling, and day-care expenses rising, many people are finding it hard to dedicate their time to the classroom instead of in the workplace. But why not have the best of both worlds?
People can still become educated while working and staying at home with their children!
Distance Learning involves taking a course or entire program at home. Often people choose distance learning as opposed to classroom learning because their schedules do not coincide with class times and their home is a long way from the institution where the course is being offered. E-learning (learning online) and mobile learning (m-learning) can both be integrated into distance learning, which allow groups to work together at a distance and individuals to have the mobility to learn wherever they go and whenever it is convenient for them.
Distance learning by e-learning and m-learning is easy to do and it saves time and money.
This web-based learning management system does everything most learning management systems do and has the added benefit of being online. There is no need to install a complicated LMS and spend weeks trying to figure it out. The web-based LMS is completely accessed online and can be logged into from anywhere.
Distance learning online, or e-learning, is the most accommodating, economical, and reliable way to gain an education.
The cost of training for an organization can be a lot when taking into consideration time giving presentations, classroom space, and time spent away from work. Workinfo.com offers a large selection of training courses, from Accounting Skills to Safety in the Workplace - all which can be taken online, at a distance! Training at a distance can allow employees to train outside of work hours, and this can save time and classroom space, and in turn save money!
Now you can link your employee performance development plans to specific learning programmes which they may access online and complete within the scheduled time frames.
Two of the most important considerations for a business when thinking about training their employees are, how do I save time? And how do I save money?
3
Workinfo.com Structured e-Learning Platform
By opting for distance training as opposed to classroom training, you will do both of those things. In a business, time = money. Here are some ways that you will save you both:
Simply, distance training is completed faster, which mean less money spent on training hours
No one has to be in the same place at the same time, people can train when it is convenient for them
There is no need to pay for travel expenses for training
Training in the classroom takes away from time spent at the job, which means more money spent on training as opposed to work - this is reduced with distance training
If something comes up on the job during training, an employee can stop the training to go to work and go back to training later on
Some employees can move through training sections faster if they are familiar with a certain section, rather than waiting for other employees to catch up
It's not necessary for employees to be computer experts - it's simple to teach and the amount of time you will save with distance training will make up for the little time spent teaching employees how to access the distance training materials
Workinfo.com can help you incorporate distance training into your workplace. Call us today to see how you can meet all of the above goals to save time and money at your business.
Note: The number of days reflected with each course is the equivalent training time in days.

It only makes sense, then, that we need a new tool to help us measure this expanded
definition of success. Enter the balanced scorecard! This tool and its related components will help your organization identify, document, plan, and execute a balanced strategic mission. It will also help your organization evaluate and revise its strategic execution.
This one-day workshop will introduce participants to the basics of the balanced scorecard and help them determine if this powerful tool is a good fit for their organization.
