Enroll today! Students may enroll at any time, except college holidays, and start class almost immediately. Upon completion of the class, students may sign up for the next class--no waiting for the next semester. Students are allowed breaks between the completion of one class and the beginning of the next class. This does not apply to VA students who must maintain continuous enrollment. Students must begin the registration process for the

self-paced programs by seeing a Skills Center counselor in Bldg. 118, room 4.

Clock hour program: Each class has a set number of clock hours allotted to it. These hours are the maximum allowable time the student has to complete the class. The classes are divided into a number of modules with each module broken down by hour to ensure timely course completion. It is within these individual modules you learn the competencies or tasks (skills) for the course. If you have prior experience or are a fast learner, you may not use all of the time allotted. You simply move on at your own pace. Typically, students finish courses early and proceed to the next course. There is no hard-and-fast rule about how long it takes to complete a program--it is up to you- -you set the pace.
