This Addendum 2 shall amend the current Construction Documents issued on Click here to enter a date.

for the above referenced project. They shall be considered part of the bid documents for the above

mentioned project and shall be incorporated integrally therewith. The following additions, deletions,

modifications, or clarifications shall be made to the appropriate sections of the plans and specifications,

and all other conditions shall remain the same. Where provisions of the following supplementary data

differ from those of the original bid documents, this Addendum shall govern and take precedence.

Bidders are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments in their estimates as a result

of this Addendum. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid

form.

Failure to do so may be cause for disqualification.

The bid documents are modified and clarified as follows:

Is fiber reinforcing required?

Yes, as per specification section 03 30 00, Cast-In-Place Concrete, paragraphs 1.6 and 2.6.

Is metal lath required behind manufactured stone?

Yes, as per specification section 04 73 00, Manufactured Stone Masonry, and via inclusion in

the drawings, as per this Addendum.

7.

Is a roof hatch required?

No.

8.

Regarding using the material suppliers or subcontractors in the HealthTrust documents of

Addendum No. 1, the bidders are encouraged to contact the specific vendors or subcontractors, it

is not a requirement that the subcontractors indicated are the sole source for these products or

labor.

9.

From Addendum No.1, Alternate No. 1, do we delete the manufactured stone on the walls also?

No, the manufactured stone remains on the exterior walls.

10.

Please clarify the total runtime for the diesel generator.

The fuel tank should be sized to run the generator for a minimum of 8 hours without refilling.

The tank should be a belly tank.

The existence of soil cement below the paving has not been verified. Please reference the

Geotechnical Report in the Project Manual. The existing base material appears to vary from

a clayey gravel to silt.

12.

There are several locations of 18 inch RCP in the ditch at the road. Is this an existing condition

or is this to be new?

The existing 18 inch RCP are to remain. See Civil plan sheet 005.

13.

Where is the typical Rip Rap section detail used?

The typical riprap section should be used at the outfall of the detention pond discharge pipe.

See Civil sheet 005.

14.

Will the Owner allow us to stock pile the spoil dirt from the drill shafts and grade beams onsite,

or will offsite disposal be needed?

Yes, the specific location for stockpiling on site will be determined with the Owner.

15.

Confirm if Laticrete Hydro Ban Waterproof Membrane is to be installed beneath all ceramic floor

tile?

No

16.

Is epoxy grout to be installed with PCT 4?

No

17.

Are there any mud beds in the project?

No.

18.

The Finish Schedule notes that ceramic wall tile is to be installed with a 1/3 offset. The interior

elevations on page 220 indicate it to b straight laid. Which is correct?

Use the 1/3 offset. The interior elevation will be adjusted accordingly.

19.

Can you identify the exact columns and locations that is to be wrapped with PCT4?

PCT 4 is at columns F.5/0.9 and G/0.9. See detail

20.

In specification section 05 40 00 Cold-Formed Metal Framing, are connections to be welded?

What is the intent of the delegated design engineer?

Cold-formed metal framing connections shall be standard mechanical fastener connections

not welded. The CFMF shops submittal shall be signed and sealed by a state of Louisiana

professional engineer. This requirement confirms that all CFMF components are engineered

to the project specific requirements. The architect and engineer have performed no

preliminary or final sizes of CMFM, aside from stud depth and spacing for coordination with

other work.

Are the Unit prices to be reflected in the base bids?
