WE FOCUS ON >

Lex Borealis unites lawyers with a rich track record

in working for large international law firms,

the «Big Four» consultancy companies and

in industry, who came together to establish their

own business.

In our business we apply the most efficient solutions, learnt from our practice:

Quality Control

>

Each assignment is assigned to a lawyer who specializes in the corresponding field which results in the most cost and time effective product delivery.

We also implement the “four eyes review” approach where any deliverable is reviewed by a senior lawyer or partner.

Reasonable & Transparent Pricing

>

We do our best to offer reasonable and transparent pricing.

So far as it is possible to estimate our involvement in an assignment, we try to offer a cap on our fees. Also, in certain projects (such as litigation) we can agree on a success fee.

Otherwise our fees are determined based on the hourly rates and time actually spent by our lawyers. The time spent on a project is tracked by professional software which allows us to report to the client on a regular basis. At the end of the day you are always aware of what’s going on with the project and our fees!

Practical View

>

We focus on providing practical advice. Thus our legal opinions always include an assessment of risks from a practical perspective (including on the basis of relevant court and administrative practice) and risk mitigation factors. If necessary, we are always ready to defend our position in court, at a governmental body or in negotiations.

Deadlines

>

It is often impossible to make a commercial decision before legal advice is obtained. From that perspective it is critical that the deadlines for delivery of legal advice are met. That is why meeting deadlines is one of our key targets.

To facilitate cooperation with the client, each project is managed by a responsible lawyer (manager) who is fully aware of the progress made and is always available for discussion.

Confidentiality

>

We do our best to keep the client’s information confidential. Access to any client’s information is granted to such extent and to those lawyers as may be necessary to secure efficient work on the assignment.
