The Process Specialist is a lead teacher level position working with administrators, EC Case Managers, and Exceptional Children Teachers regarding compliance of exceptional children’s records, teacher training, staff development, internal audit and individual educational plans. Provides expertise in EC policies, paperwork and software from referral to eligibility including individualized educational plans (IEP’s). Spends majority of work time in schools providing guidance, support and assistance with the complying with the NC Policies Governing Services for Children with Disabilities manual. The person in this position will have responsibility for overseeing data collection and reporting for the evaluation of Title I activities. The primary purpose of this role is to fulfill local evaluation needs for Title I. The person in this role will work closely with the Title I, Curriculum and Instruction, and Research and Evaluation to develop and maintain appropriate databases and reporting mechanisms. The successful candidate will have demonstrated facility with PC environments including data management and statistical analysis packages, and will have knowledge in statistics, research design and program evaluation methodology.
