Conversion or Exchange Option
The owner may convert or exchange the term life insurance policy for any life insurance policy we make available for this purpose. The face amount of the new life insurance policy cannot be more than the current policy’s and may not be less than the minimum for the type of policy selected. The new policy will be issued at the insured’s age at nearest birthday, without evidence of insurability. This option is available during the initial level period or until the policy anniversary date nearest the insured’s 75th birthday, whichever comes first. For policies issued at age 75 or older, conversion is available up to one year from the date of issue.

Waiver of Premium (WP)

Waivespremiums that fall due while the insured is totally disabled, provided the insured becomes totally disabled before the policy anniversary nearest age 60 and is totally disabled for at least 6 continuous months. WP rates are in the far right column of the rate charts and change when the policy’s premium changes. The rider terminates on the policy anniversary nearest the insured’s 60th birthday.Issue Ages

Accelerated Death Benefit (ADB)
–
Provides a lump sum benefit if the insured is diagnosed with a terminal illness that reduces life expectancy to 6 months or less (in most states). Maximum benefit is the difference between (1) and (2):(1) An amount equal to the lesser of (a) $500,000 and (b) the policy loan value plus 75% of the difference between the death benefit and the policy loan value.
The maximum total accelerated death benefit we will pay under all policies we issue on the insured is $500,000.
The amount accelerated is treated as a lien against the policy death benefit1. This amount plus accrued interest is deducted from the death
benefit at the time of payment. Although there is no initial cost for the rider, an administrative fee is deducted when this option is exercised.

Children’s Insurance Rider (CIR)

Provides term life insurance for each dependent child age 15 days – 18 years. Up to $10,000 may be purchased in $1,000 increments. Dependent children may be the insured’s natural children, stepchildren and legally adopted children. Coverage terminates on the child’s 21st birthday or the policy anniversary nearest the insured’s 65th birthday, whichever is earlier.Issue Ages

The premium rate is $5.50 per $1,000 of coverage. If both Waiver of Premium and CIR are in force, there is an additional charge to cover the waiver of premium for the CIR rider. This additional amount will remain level the entire time the WP rider is in effect.
