With the ImageMaster ECM Suite, T-Systems offers its own product range in

the area of document and content-oriented solutions. These elements form

the core of our solutions. In addition to individual adjustments, our customers

also have access to integration at the front-end and back-end of a wide

spec-trum of standard connectors. These include C++, Java and XML-APIs as well

as suitable service adapters. With the help of these connectors, customers

can implement complete integration into the existing customer applications

either by themselves or with our support. The following solutions for the

inte-gration of MS Office, MS Outlook and SAP R/3 serve as examples.

With the ImageMaster Office Integration, T-Systems offers efficient handling of MS Office documents and

files – anywhere and anytime. The integration with ImageMaster provides direct access to the Document

Management System (DMS) from an MS Office application. As a result, Office documents can be archived

in and accessed directly from the Document Management System, without any annoying and

time-con-suming intermediate steps.

T-Systems has extensive consulting experience within the field of enterprise content and document

management solutions. Our experts have implemented systems with quantity structures going into the

two digit terabyte range. Within the scope of the one-stop-shop philosophy, T-Systems is committed to

Proper management of documents.

Thanks to the

automa-ted versioning of your documents within the ImageMaster DMS, you are always able to access the current as well as previous versions of your documents. Changes are documented. You can easily recreate the status of a certain document of any given point in time.

Document Links.

Among other things, the extensive functions of ImageMaster include document links. This function allows you to link your documents to important and relevant data. For example, your contracts can be linked to the corresponding framework agree-ments, thus significantly reducing the search times of your experts.

Editing documents together.

One core value of a Document

Management System is the possibility to edit and process documents together. Archiving documents in the DMS system allows your colleagues to view and edit the data in a timely manner and indepen-dent of their location. The original document is preserved due to the automatic versioning. Any changes in a document can easily be retraced and the original status of the document can be reconstructed.

To protect your documents

from unauthorized access, the ImageMaster user administration provides a user- and group-depend-ent distribution of authorizations. This ensures that your documents can only be viewed or edited by certain users or user groups.

The auditable archiving of Emails is easy and uncomplicated, thanks to ImageMaster for Microsoft

Exchange. Based on the legally accepted archiving of data in the ImageMaster archive, you can

dis-burden your Exchange servers, thereby accelerating the access to your Email inboxes. Archived data

is always available and can be accessed directly via the Microsoft Outlook application.

Thanks to the use of the Outlook form technology, software installation on individual work stations is

not required. The users can access their data as usual; without any training. Archived data can be

further processed using the ImageMaster document management system. The automatic archiving

is rule-based and time-controlled.

Auditable archiving.

By using ImageMaster for Exchange, you can archive your business correspondence in an audi-table long-term archive and thus meet the obliga-tion to retenobliga-tion for business-relevant documents.

Low implementation expenses.

Based on the use of the

Outlook form technology, the software installa-tion on individual work stainstalla-tions is not required. The operation of the integrated solution is intu-itive; no user training is required.

Automatic archiving.

Emails can be archived automatically and time-controlled. Your Exchange data is automati-cally archived and indexed based on defined rules such as size or age. Of course data can also be archived individually and manually by the user. There is the option of archiving complete Emails or the attachments only. All messages will remain available in the MS Outlook application and can be accessed directly. The archiving status of each Email / attachement is indicated by pictograms.

Disburden of Exchange servers.

Archiving data like Emails,

notes or calendar entries in the ImageMaster archiving system keeps the Exchange servers lean and thus more efficient. Within the Outlook application, the remaining size of archived Emails is less than 1 KB. This allows very quick access to the inboxes. The usage of more cost-effective archiving and storage media for archived Emails saves costs, compared to requiring expensive server storage. In addition, backup and recovery times are reduced because of the secure archiv-ing solution.

High scalability.

ImageMaster is a highly scalable solution. Large data volumes can be processed without any loss of per-formance.

Offline availability.

Archived Emails can be stored on the local hard drive with one mouse click. This allows you to access your archived data any time and anywhere, even when you are offline.
