Original passport. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 1 visa page clear of any markings.
1 Photographs. Standard passport photographs 35mm x 45mm on a white background.
Payment. Credit Card Authorization form, Postal Order payable to VisaHQ.co.uk.

Proof of Status. Original ILR card or other proof of resident status in the UK, this should be valid for more than 6 months after your return from Ireland.
Bank Statement. Original bank statements for the past 3 months. The most recent statement should show evidence of sufficient funds for travel of approximately GBP 180 per day.
Personal Invitation. If visiting friends or family, you must provide letter of invitation with the contact information of the host and visitor, who is responsible for the expenses, purpose and duration of the visit, confirmation of accommodation including the address, signature and date. You will also need to provide proof of the host's status in Ireland ie. copy of their Ireland passport's information page, or, if they are not a citizen of Ireland, copies of their Ireland residence permit and their national passport's information pages.
Additional Documents for Children.
- Original birth certificate showing the names of both parents
- A letter from child's school confirming current attendance or a letter from their GP if the child is not yet of the school going age - The written consent of both parents for the child to travel or a sworn affidavit of guardianship/ or original court order in the case of sole guardianship
- Original (or certified copies) photo ID for both parents, as named on the birth certificate, which includes their signatures.
Authorisation Letter. An Original signed copy of the Irish Authorisation Letter can be found here.
Employment Letter. Employment Letter. Copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, purpose and duration of the trip and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
Please note Each applicant must send us the Collection Authorization Letter which can be downloaded by clicking the 'Download and
print' button above. When applying for a Visa to Ireland please provide all original documents; internet banking/Cash Point/ATM Statements as the Evidence of Funds are not accepted. Failure to do so may result in delays. The Irish embassy has very particular processes and will not accept an application until all the below documents are provided in the originals. Multiple entry visa is only possible if you have had previous visits to Ireland.
