Job Overview
The successful candidate will provide planned maintenance, reactive response, installation and commissioning services to a variety of public and private sector clients throughout Ireland. The role will be predominantly service and maintenance based however installation works will also be required from time to time. The successful candidate will be Belfast based however travel throughout Ireland and the UK will also be required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To control and manage routine planned maintenance and reactive response tasks To self-manage workload in an efficient and timely manner
To ensure all works are delivered on time and to set budgets
To ensure all works are completed to an acceptable quality / technical standard To update the company mobile management information system for all works To be proactive and client focused in the delivery of all works
To represent the company in a competent and professional manner at all times
Functions of the Role
To manage workload of PPM, reactive and remedial maintenance activities To perform all works within budget to achieve prospective efficiencies
To be responsible for the implementation of the company health & safety policy To prepare and complete point of work risk assessments and method statements To liaise with operational staff, clients and customers in a professional manner
QA Management and implementation Achieving and exceeding set KPI’s Management of Health & Safety Meeting commercial targets Overall client satisfaction
PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate must:
Be a time served F-Gas Registered Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer; Be educated to at least NVQ 3 in Air Conditioning and / or Refrigeration; Be able to demonstrate experience working on various items of equipment : - Split Systems, VRV Systems, Air Handling Units;
Chilled Water Applications, Fan Coil Units, Close Control Units; Chilled Cabinets, Coolers, Commercial Fridges & Freezers; Local Controls, Central Controls, BMS.
Have a sound knowledge across various manufacturers equipment; Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Daikin;
Carrier, Nuttall, Foster, Emerson.
Be able to demonstrate a strong fault finding / diagnostic ability; Be able to demonstrate a strong installation ability;
Have a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland; Possess a full valid driving license.
Desirable Criteria:
It would be advantageous if the candidate held any of the following qualifications:
BOHS qualified and experienced working with Local Exhaust Ventilation systems; IEE 17th Edition;
C&G 2392 Inspection & Testing; Gas Safe Registration;
OFTEC Registration.
