January 2015
Thank you for your interest in San Francisco Cooking School (SFCS).
Your decision to invest in a culinary or pastry education is a big one, so I know you
have lots of questions.
Upon receiving your application, we look forward to inviting you in for a private tour
of our busy kitchens, a visit in the classroom, and a personal interview. We also
schedule monthly open houses and you can find out about them via our website and
on LinkedIn or Facebook/sfcooking. In the meantime, we are committed to providing
all the answers you need by phone or email.
We are processing applications now and will be accepting qualified applicants on a
rolling basis for our upcoming 2015 sessions. Note that applications received on or
after September 1, 2015 are subject to a tuition increase.
With our Certificate Programs, we offer a contemporary curriculum that is rigorous
and fast-paced. Admission is selective. SFCS is a small private school with sessions
limited to only 14 students, so we encourage you to apply early. Prior food
experience is not required. We are looking for people with an evident passion for all
things food related, and a desire to transition that into a career.
If you need any assistance with the enclosed application, please reach out to us with
your questions.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Jodi Liano
