MES Application Development Potency Calculator
Built Library for calculating raw material potencies. The business called for receiving raw material information and supplying the assay value based on a calculated algorithm. I used the strategy pattern to receive the raw material information and supply a distinct calculation based on the information supplied.
Post Weigh Up
Built a 3-tier architecture to support the post weigh up operations. We created tables, relations, and Stored Procedures using SQL 2008. Wrote the model layer using the Entity Framework and LINQ queries. Data retrieval was written using WCF Services. Managed and Built a Silverlight web application to allow for viewing store locations and managing weekly sales. Wrote and Used Resource dictionary to built a custom look and feel and utilized this throughout the application. We created tables, relations, and Stored Procedures using SQL 2008. In charge of compiling and placing xap file onto intranet page when ever needed.
Claims Project
Managed and Built a WPF Application for managing store claims (Slip and fall, etc…) built a 3-tier architecture with a XAML front end. Wrote and Used Resource dictionary to built a custom look and feel and utilized this throughout the application. Wrote video editing functionality to allow user to observe and clip portions of video in preparation for evidence presentation in court. Wrote all events and animations for modern look and feel. This application used the factory pattern to manage data retrieval by the middle tier Medical Data Management
Call Center Project
Lead developer on the team. Upgraded a DOS FoxPro application to .NET 3.5. Desktop application. I was a Member of the SQL team. The team was tasked with building a relational database to facilitate data being farmed by a call center. The data needed to be dumped nightly into a flattened (OLAP) database for live customer queries. This project was written using the MVC Pattern (Non-web) to decouple the UI from the middle and data tiers. The purpose was to prevent massive re-structure due to constant changes being made to the interface.
Customer Live Counts
Assisted in writing nightly data dumps to OLAP database. Member of team writing ASP.NET web application used for customer live counts. Wrote web interface to allow users an environment to create ADHOC queries against data gathered by call center application. Mainly involved in Business and front-end design and implementation.
Real Estate Documentation Management Pushpins Notary signing application
Managed and assisted in writing multi-tier enterprise application for managing contract notarization. Upgraded a Microsoft access application using .NET 1.0. The application used SQL 2000 database. I was involved in all areas of development, while mainly in the Business and windows User Interface. Created a custom control library utilizing the GDI+ Library to create a custom look and feel. I was also involved in writing the web interface for external users. The final product allowed for live notary bookings by in-house users and background services in the case of auto-booking. And handled 100s of concurrent users at one time. The application used the CLR by allowing for a VB.NET front end and a C# .NET middle tier and backend.
