Digital Wallet (YES PAY) Product FAQ’s 1. Who can use the wallet?

Any Smart phone or Facebook user with a valid Mobile number can download this application and start using it. You may or may not be a YES BANK customer. Visit Play store / FB Store Subscribe to this app and fill in the details to complete the registration 2. What are the features of the wallet?

You can use the wallet to

 Send, receive, request and borrow money  Settle transactions within a group of friends  Quick Recharge/Bill Payment

 E-commerce transactions such as movie ticketing, buying gifts, deals etc. 3. How can I register for wallet?

The detailed registration process is as under:

 You have to visit Facebook application or download Mobile application.

 Enter personal details such as Name, DOB, Address, Mobile number, e-mail ID. In case user is a minor, guardian details are captured

 An OTP is sent on the Mobile number and a verification link is sent on e-mail ID. As soon as correct OTP is entered an electronic wallet is created for the user.

 You have to set a 6-digit PIN which will be required to login into application. Then you have to select 3 secret questions and provide the answer for the same.

 You have to enter a secondary Mobile number which will be used in case of any changes in the primary Mobile number.

 Then a wallet is created for you 4. When can my registration fail?

Your registration may fail in following cases

 Your Mobile Number/Name matches with negative list  A wallet already exists against your Mobile Number 5. Can I register using Facebook credentials?

Yes, you can register using Facebook credentials. In this case also user has to follow the entire registration process, only personal details will be auto-populated

6. If I am a YES BANK customer, do I need to register again for Wallet?

Yes, YES BANK customers also need to register for wallet separately. While registering you can enter Customer ID (Cust ID) issued by YES BANK.

7. How can customer login into wallet?

Selects the Application and enters 6 digit PIN to login. 8. What are the monetary limits in wallet?

Balance in wallet cannot exceed INR 10,000 at any point of time. Maximum amount that can be loaded per month is INR 10,000

9. How can I lock my wallet?

You can lock the wallet by clicking “Lock Wallet” which is available inside the wallet. Once the wallet is locked no transactions can be performed using the wallet. You can also lock your wallet by getting in touch with YES BANK toll free Number – 1800 2000 10. Will YES BANK forcefully lock my wallet?

If you enter wrong PIN 5 consecutive times then your wallet will be forcefully locked for 4 hours. Wallet account will be unlocked after 4 hours. However if any transactions are scheduled previously, then those transactions will be executed

11. How can I unlock my wallet?

In case you have locked the wallet, then system will not allow you to login. A OTP will be sent to your registered Mobile number which has to be entered by you. Post validation of OTP your Wallet be unlocked

12. How can change my App PIN?

You can click on “Change PIN” inside the application. Then you have to enter OTP received on registered Mobile number, post which you can enter a new PIN

13. What if I forget my PIN?

You can visit “Forget PIN” before you login to application. You have to enter OTP received and answer one of the 3 secret question set by you at the time of registration. Then you can set a new PIN

14. How can I reset the secret questions?

You can click of “Reset Secret Question” and then enter OTP and proceed to change the secret questions and answers. You can change Questions as well as answers

15. How can I change my Mobile Number?

You can click on “Change Mobile Number” and then enter OTP. Then enter new mobile number. You will receive an OTP on new mobile number which has to be entered. Post verification the new mobile number is registered by the user. In case the new number is already registered for wallet, then the mobile number will not be updated.

16. I don’t have access to the registered mobile number. How can I change my Mobile number?

You can click on “Change Mobile Number” and then you will receive an OTP on secondary mobile number entered by you at the time of registration. Post OTP verification, you have to enter new mobile number. You will receive an OTP on new mobile number which has to be entered. Post verification the new mobile number is registered by the user. In case the new number is already registered for wallet, then the mobile number will not be updated.

17. What are the ways in which I can load money into wallet? There are multiple options available to load money:

A. YES BANK Account (If you are YES BANK customer) – You can choose an existing YES BANK Account to load money

B. Payment Gateway – You can use Debit Card, NetBanking or IMPS to load money C. IMPS (IFSC/Mobile Number as well as account number) – You can initiate an IMPS

fund transfer by providing IFSC and Mobile number

18. How can I register my Bank Account?

You have to click on “Register a bank Account” and enter Account details such as Account number, IFSC Code and Name of Account holder

19. How can I send money to my friends?

You can send money to your friends by following the steps as under:

 You can click on “Send Money” and select the friend/contact you intend to send money along with the amount to be sent. There is also an option available to you to set a due date on which you want the money to be returned.

 In case the recipient is a wallet user the funds will be transferred to his wallet. If the recipient is not a wallet user he will be prompted to register for wallet or register his bank account details. However recipient can register his bank account details after completion of 72 hours.

 In case the recipient registers for wallet then funds will be transferred to the wallet else the funds will be transferred to his Bank Account using IMPS

 If recipient does not perform any of the 2 options above within 7 days, then the funds will be transferred back to sender’s account

You can request money from your friends by following steps as under:

 You can click on “Request Money” and select a particular contact/friend from the list along with the amount to be requested. Then the request recipient receives a notification. This user has a option to accept or reject the request

 If the user accepts the request and he is an existing wallet user then funds can be transferred using 2 modes i.e. Wallet to Wallet transfer or Payment Gateway (PG). In case of wallet to wallet transfer funds will move from one wallet to another. In case of PG transfer funds can be transferred using Debit Card or NetBanking

 If user accepts the request but he is not a registered wallet user then the user will be prompted to create wallet or transfer funds using NetBanking PG.  In case request recipient does not respond to the request within 7 days then

the request is automatically nullified

21. What is Settle a Dutch feature in the wallet?

Settle a Dutch feature helps you to share your restaurant/movie expenses with your friends. You have to select the friends/contacts who would be sharing the bill amount. You can mention specific amount to be paid by each friend or select equal statement. 22. What kind of E-commerce transactions can be done using Wallet?

You can use your wallet for following transactions:

A. Recharge/Billpay – You can do Prepaid Mobile/DTH recharge and postpaid Mobile Bill payments. Auto pay facility for certain bills is also available.

B. In App Commerce – You can purchase products and offers available inside the wallet

C. Online Commerce – You can use Wallet to make payments for online purchases on E-commerce websites where YES PAY Wallet payment option is available. In payment option you have to select YES PAY Wallet as an option and make payment 23. What are the features of Save for a Goal option?

In order to fund certain In App purchases at future date, you can save for a goal. You have to select a Goal and amount to be contributed periodically (weekly, monthly for maximum period of 1 year). When the goal is reached customer has an option to redeem it against the selected goal. In case you discontinue the goal midway already collected amount moves back to your wallet.

You can gift the products/services available inside the app to your friends/relatives. The gift/voucher will be delivered to the intended recipient; however money will be debited from your account

25. What are Reward Points and how can I redeem it?

You will receive reward points for each transaction which will be credited to your wallet account. At any point you can redeem these against the available redemption benefit 26. How can I close the wallet?

You can close the wallet at any point of time. You will be shown existing goal, scheduled transactions, receivables, payables, reward points etc. You can ignore them and proceed. For balance in the wallet, you can choose any of the following –

 Purchase deal/vouchers

 Transfer the balance to registered bank accounts

 Request a DD/PO to be issued and sent to the registered address (Processing and Dispatch fees will be applicable)

 Forfeit and close

27. What will happen if there is no activity in my wallet?

In case you have not used the wallet in 6 months, then you will be prompted to spend the balance amount within one month else your amount will be forfeited
