OUTLOOK EXPRESS EMAIL PROGRAM SETUP
PROTECT YOUR NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT FROM SPAM:I get complaints all of the time about email SPAM/junk mail coming into the mail account. The problem is that most of that is caused by ourselves putting our address out there for the taking.
To protect your new email account from getting loaded with SPAM/junk mail please take the following steps:::
Only use your DriveHubler email account for Hubler related business. When you go to some web sites and enter
your email address for something "free" (etc) you get on that mailing list and possibly many others without your knowledge. Once you start using your account out there in cyberspace for non-business sites the SPAM just slowly adds from there. For that kind of non-business use I would use a dummy email account like Yahoo, Hotmail, Google (etc) or your own personal email account for those sites. Please take note that for Hubler business related emails Hubler Automotive Group wants everyone to use their DriveHubler email account and not personal email accounts. Anything personal should be performed on non-Hubler computers and on off work time.
USING YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT VIA OUTLOOK EXPRESS:
If you wish to use your email account using Outlook Express see below SETUP OUTLOOK EXPRESS for required settings to use.
USING YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT VIA THE WEB: (note: you can use web based from other PCs)
If you wish to use your email account from any computer connected to the internet use the following link and instructions below:
open your browse and enter (type or click this link): http://mail.drivehubler.com/
enter your full email address for the user name (eg: [email protected]) (all lower case)
enter your password (if not changed it is what was given to you originally)
You can send/receive emails. You can change your settings like password (see below).
CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD:
If you wish to change your email password from your original set up password of "hubler" use the following link and instructions below:
open your browse and enter (type or click this link): http://mail.drivehubler.com /
enter your full email address for the user name (eg: [email protected]) (all lower case)
enter your password (if not changed it is what was given to you originally) place mouse over "tools" then click on “accounts”.
enter your old (current) password
enter your new password (remember: it is case sensitive) then confirm password in next box click "OK" to save changes
log out
Open up Outlook Express (if you are already using it) a box will open up then enter your new password
SETUP OUTLOOK EXPRESS:
Below are the settings for POP3 email setup. Shown far below in this email are 5 picture examples of the 5
Outlook Express screens. If you use the wizard to add an Outlook Express account you need to then edit the account after finishing the wizard to get to all fields set correctly.
GENERAL TAB:
email address: your full email address (eg: [email protected]) (all lower case)
SERVER TAB:
My incoming mail server is POP3
incoming mail (POP3): mail.drivehubler.com outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.drivehubler.com
account name: your full email address (eg: [email protected]) (all lower case)
enter your password (if not changed it is what was given to you originally but you should change it) leave blank (off) the box for: My server requires authentication
ADVANCED TAB:
Leave blank (off) both boxes that read: this server requires a secure connection SSL outgoing mail (SMTP) port is 25 (default)
incoming mail (POP3) port is 110 (default)

Below are the settings for POP3 email setup for Outlook Express shown in picture examples.
SCREEN #1:
SCREEN #2 - General:
Replace "Your Full Name" with your actual full name.
SCREEN #3 - Servers:
Incoming and Outgoing mail servers are: mail.drivehubler.com
Replace "YourAccount" with your actual account (eg: first initial and last name normally). Replace password with actual password given or changed to.
SCREEN #4 - "Settings" from screen above:
Under “Outgoing Mail Server (screen above) click on “Settings”. Set as shown.

SPECIAL NOTE: If you wish to leave copies of incoming mail on the server please see the settings below under “delivery”. This then allows you to view your email from another location web based (see Web Based Email on www.HublerIT.com ).
SPECIAL NOTE: be sure to press "Apply" then OK.
