Steps to Register

Step 1: Collect “Registration Package” from ACAD (NUB Website). Step 2: Select courses of your choice from course recommendations.

Step 3: Fill up the Registration Request Form (RRF) and get your advisor’s approval (it is mandatory). Step 4: Submit the RRF to the ACAD (office of the department) within the specified dates.

Step 5: Collect your courses confirmation & adjust courses (if needed).

Step 6: Confirm your registration by paying 40% of the total charges of the semester by the specified deadline. Step 7: Pre-requisite course(s) must be completed before registering the advanced courses.

Tuition Fees Payment Structure

Cancellation of Registration: Students who will fail to pay at least 40% of total semester tuition fees by October 10, 2015, their registration will be cancelled and they will be bared from participation in the class!!!

Fall Semester 2015

MBA/MBM programs of study would be conducted under the open credit hour system. Accordingly, the students of MBA/MBM programs are hereby requested to follow the terms & conditions below:

01. Registration Policy:

I. A student may take a minimum of 6 credits & a maximum of 12 credits for each semester with the consultation of concerned advisor.

II. Students must mention their Majors in MBA in RRF.

III. Section change within the same course is no longer allowed once registration is confirmed. IV. There will be no batches/groups under the open credit hour system.

V. Students will be enrolled only as per their courses & sections registered. Without registration

no one will be eligible to attend that particular semester and course.

VI. Upon completion of Add/Drop, no student will be allowed to change the section and course for which they are registered.

VII. Minimum number of students for each section is 15 and maximum is 40. No course/section will be offered if the minimum requirement is not met.

VIII. In case of Major/Specialization part the minimum number of student for each section is 15 and

maximum is 35.

IX. Each section will be filled up on first come first serve basis and once the number of students in a section reaches 40, no student will be allowed to join the section.

X. If a student doesn’t pass pre-requisite of the course(s) registered, the registered course(s) will

be automatically dropped.

02. Course Improvement:

For an ‘F’ grade the course must be repeated within the 3 consecutive semesters but pre-

requisite course/s should be repeated on priority basis.

As for the improvement of grade of any course, the incumbent student may be allowed to

repeat for improvement of that course if he/she earns up to ‘B’ grade. However, if any student wishes to take this privilege he/she has to submit an application through the proper channel at least two weeks prior to the commencement of a particular semester.

03. Policy for availing double major:

a) The student must complete his/her first major from this University.

b) The student must apply to the authority of the University through the Dean / Coordinator of the respective program of study mentioning his/her intention to pursue the 2nd major during the last semester of his/her 1st major.

c) For 2nd Major, the students will be asked to complete only the specialized courses as required depending on the different programs of study.

d) Upon completion of the 2nd Major only one certificate would be issued for graduating student.

04. Semester drop/ Course Withdrawal:

A registered student shall be entitled to get 50% refund of tuition fees paid for the semester excluding semester fee if the registrar has received written notice through Head of Dept. / Dean of the Faculty for semester drop within 2 weeks of the commencement of the semester. Application of refund will not be considered after 2 weeks of the beginning of the semester and consequently a student is liable to pay100% tuition fees.

05. Special Examination:

As per decision of the “Central Board of Examinations” the fee for the special Final examinations has been re-fixed at Tk.1000/- per course.

07. Amendment in the Package:

The authority holds all the rights to change, add, and/or cancel anything in the registration package including academic calendar, class routine, exams schedule, and course offering.
