The MuseumsQuartier (MQ) is one of the ten largest cultural quarters in the world. Located on the border of the old city in the former imperial stables, it combines institutions of different art fields, restaurants and cafés in a post-modern ambiance, a combination of baroque buildings and modern architecture.

The Leopold Museum represents Austrian modernist masterpieces and Vienna around 1900. Its absolute highlight is the significant collection of works by Egon Schiele.

The Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) focuses its attention on 20th and 21st century art. Works by Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Pablo Picasso, Yoko Ono, Günter Brus and Gerhard Richter invite you to engage with contemporary art.

According to legend Georg Kolschitzky courageously passed the enemy line during the second Turkish occupation of Vienna in 1683, he brought their coffee to the town and founded the first café in Vienna. The international reputation of the Vienna cafés goes back to the turn of the 20th century, when cafés were meeting places for writers, artists and bohemians. You will discover many different café houses and hear the interesting stories of their visitors while you walk through the historic city. But the largest diversity you’ll find is in the coffee Itself. The last stop will be at Café Landtmann where we can taste three different types of coffee and three different cakes.
