According to legend Georg Kolschitzky courageously passed the enemy line during the second Turkish occupation of Vienna in 1683, he brought their coffee to the town and founded the first café in Vienna. The international reputation of the Vienna cafés goes back to the turn of the 20th century, when cafés were meeting places for writers, artists and bohemians. You will discover many different café houses and hear the interesting stories of their visitors while you walk through the historic city. But the largest diversity you’ll find is in the coffee Itself. The last stop will be at Café Landtmann where we can taste three different types of coffee and three different cakes.
