Planning Guidance

Kalzip®aluminium roofing systems are suitable for a wide variety of applications and not only offer a lengthy service life

but also excellent economic efficiency. Their compliance with the current requirements of construction physics relating to fire/acoustic protection and the EnEV energy-saving directives is exemplary.

These construction recommendations are based on state-of-the-art technology. They are provided to the best of our knowledge and based on our experience and studies. They do not refer to any specific application and cannot give rise to any claims for compensation.

We reserve the right to make any changes to the construction or product range which seem technically sensible in view of our high demands for quality and progress.

The vendor accepts no liability for the advice rendered to the purchaser within the framework of the technical service which he provides. All drawings, sales documents or other suggested structures, procedures and ideas are presented without obligation to the purchaser for checking. It is the duty of the purchaser to ensure that there is no infringement of the trade mark rights (protection rights/industrial property rights?) of a third party.

The constructional details represent suggestions for roof structures designs which have two shells and must be adapted to suit the actual constructional facts and conditions. The design of these types of structures requires careful planning, calculation, skilled preparation and installation. For this reason, all conditions and facts relating to use, in particular those relating to construction physics, must be taken into consideration. Standard constructions, which fulfil all requirements, are not possible.

Kalzip®plastic compound clip

Kalzip®compound clips are not available in all sizes.

All details are also applicable to the use of aluminium clips.

Standards/instructions

The current applicable standards and manufacturer’s instructions should be observed.

Air tightness

All room sealing connections should be made air-tight in accordance with the EnEV energy-saving directives.

Fixed points/ fasteners

Fixed points and featured fasteners should be used in accordance with the static calculations.
