LMS Review for Students

The purpose of this survey is to obtain your input on an important decision facing the College in terms of upgrading the learning management systems (LMS). With your input, future learning management systems will meet our teaching and student learning needs, and it is the College’s intention to ensure that we are finding and using the ‘right tools’ for our various stakeholders. It should be noted that the ‘right tools’ are not limited to a single-vendor solution. This survey is a

component of the Learning Management System Project sponsored by the Academic Information Technology Advisory Committee (AITAC ). AITAC's LMS Review Working Group is asking for your cooperation in completing this survey. Your responses will shape and inform final recommendations and thus, it is important that you take 15 minutes to provide your

opinion. Even if you are not currently an LMS user, we value your input and ask you to participate. In this survey, we are using the term LMS as a broad term to describe all varieties of

on-line ‘distributed learning’ systems, including course management systems (e.g. WebCT), portal applications ( e.g. MoCoMotion Course Tools, Ozone/Edison), collaborative communication systems (e.g. FirstClass/FRED), and websites (public sites or those requiring authentication). If you have any questions or technical difficulties with this survey, please send a

message to [email protected].
