Following training, Dr. Angelo Cuzalina has practiced cosmetic surgery, exclusively, since opening his surgery center in Tulsa in 1998. He has trained intensively with several former Presidents of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and has performed well over 15,000 cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Cuzalina served as President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2011and President of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2013. He had played an active leadership role in both organizations for many years. He was elected to the Board of Trustees for AACS in 2005 and to the Executive Committee in 2008. Dr. Cuzalina was elected to the Board of Trustees for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2010.

Dr. Cuzalina is the director of an AACS approved full body & facial cosmetic surgery fellowship program where he trains board certified surgeons in the art of cosmetic surgery. He is frequently asked to lecture and serve as faculty for cosmetic breast, body, and facial rejuvenation courses both nationwide and internationally. He has also written several textbook chapters and journal articles on cosmetic surgery for leading publications of this elite specialty.
