Special program for "at-risk" youth serving five counties in and around the Marshall area. This project required the establishment of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, development of a volunteer board, and effective fiscal and personnel management.

"Beyond the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)" - a statewide training initiative funded through the Texas Higher Education
Coordinating Board. As a part of this project, funded for three years, I researched and wrote two technical assistance guides for community colleges to enable them to better serve students with disabilities. In January of 1994, I organized and conducted a statewide ADA conference in Austin for counselors and other staff of Community Colleges.
Participants, the staff of the Coordinating Board, and other state agency staff that were involved evaluated this conference as excellent.
