NEW AND UPCOMING TRIPS
.
As you can see by the list of upcoming trips we will be traveling to a lot of new and exci"ng places that we have not traveled to before (or it has been a long "me since).
We will be going to Halloween at Greenfield Village, Christmas at Huckleberry Rail- road in Flint, Shipshewana on the Road in Bridgeport, Red Barn Auc"on in Jackson, and Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant concert featuring Brenda Lee.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that when you sign-up for a trip, there is usually a deadline of 3-4 weeks before the trip takes place for monies to be refunded if you need to cancel. Please understand that I have to pay in ad- vance for 95% of the trips and some"mes I am not able to refund your money if you need to cancel. If you do cancel and I have a wai"ng list, and these people are s"ll interested in going, I will refund your money. But please understand that most of the "me that I cannot refund your money is beyond my control. If you need to can- cel, you need to contact myself or the senior center, not someone else that is going on the trip. Other people going on the trip will not know if there are people on a wai"ng list. I apologize for this rule but it is beyond my control.
Please also remember that you need to sign up for trips in the office and pay at the
"me that you sign-up.
If you have any ques"ons on any of the trips, you can call the center or you can call
Faye at 248-627-6041 (home), or 586-292-2768 (cell).

There are all kinds of upcoming ac#vi#es at the center. The Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner with actual homemade turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, and gravy. You won’t want to miss this meal.
In December there is the Christmas Potluck Dinner with fresh baked ham and scalloped potatoes.
These two meals are full of good food and lots of fun for everyone. Please make sure to call the center and sign up for your potluck dish and how many people will be coming with you. It would be wonderful to see the center filled to capacity for these two events.
Our last big event for the year of 2017 is our New Year’s Eve party and bingo. We started this last year and had a great turn out and a whole lot of fun and good food. A*er the bingo games are done we have hors d’oeuvres and lots of different fun games. (Wait #ll you see what we have this
