Over the past couple of months I have been getting in contact with my clients to let them know that the changes in mortgages, lenders and most importantly interest rates can truly save them a large amount of money. One of my clients recently came to visit us and I think her story will help you see what opportunities are available to you.

Mary has been a client of mine for 3 years and was in the 3rd year of her mortgage. Mary had $110,000

remaining on her mortgage and had an interest rate of 6%. Mary, like most of us, carries a credit card balance. She had $6000 balance on her credit card. Also Mary's husband, John was planning on renovating their

unfinished basement into a rec room. Mary and John came to me to see if there is some way for them to take advantage of the drop in interest rates. I told them "Why yes there is!", and together we worked out the details. We secured their mortgage at an interest rate much lower then they currently had and consolidated Mary's credit card debt as well as included John's renovation loan. The end result improved Mary and John's cash flow by $375/month, a zero credit card balance and a brand new rec room.
