• You will learn how to do business along the way?
Ans: Maybe the basics, but to run a business well you need to pick up some well-thought principles and guidance.
• Business study is “soft”?
Ans: Not true. Successful businesses are often guided by models and analysis that require formal training.
• There is little discovery or innovation in business studies?
Ans: We create new business concepts and ideas, and advance process or product innovations.
• Business is not a profession?
Ans: Aren’t there many professional societies, accreditations, and certifications? HKICPA, CFA Institute, ISACA, HKMA, etc.
