Some Common Questions

• You will learn how to do business along the way?

Ans: Maybe the basics, but to run a business well you need to pick up some well-thought principles and guidance.

• Business study is “soft”?

Ans: Not true. Successful businesses are often guided by models and analysis that require formal training.

• There is little discovery or innovation in business studies?

Ans: We create new business concepts and ideas, and advance process or product innovations.

• Business is not a profession?

Ans: Aren’t there many professional societies, accreditations, and certifications? HKICPA, CFA Institute, ISACA, HKMA, etc.
