Auction off your offers in the great spring auction, organised conjointly by

Berliner Morgenpost, DIE WELT, WELT am SONNTAG, and Hamburger Abendblatt since 2007. Twice a year, you are given the possibility to participate in the popular auction principle.

In the period from 20 April to 28 April, 2013 the successful concept is entering into its 12th round. Generate attractive advertising credit without touching your regular advertising budget.

Since you do not have to invest any money and the promotion in connection with the auction is without charge and independent from the success of the auction, you are not taking any risks when

Explanation You provide your offers; the total value is more than € 600.00. The individual value per offer is at least € 200.00. For maximum success, the auction will be widely promoted in Berliner Morgenpost, DIE WELT, and Hamburger Abendblatt.

The online auction starts on 20 April. Your offer is found in a database, accessible for 3 online platforms - maximum presence! The starting price for your offer is 50%.

After the end of the auction on 28 April, the Axel Springer AG informs the highest bidder about their winning. After receipt of payment, the highest bidder receives a certificate. Using this certificate, the bidder can make use of your offer.

The bidder comes to you with the certificate and receives the binding offer. You receive advertising credit in the amount of the original selling price minus VAT as recquirement for your

advertising campaign.

Example One of your offers is a travel arrangement, a gift certificate or an event in the amount of € 400.00. Berliner Morgenpost, DIE WELT, and Hamburger Abendblatt accept the offer.

The offer is presented in print as well as online, through Google AdWords and on the Axel Springer online platforms.

The auction takes place for 9 days on berlin-bietet.de, welt-bietet.de, and hamburg-bietet.de. The starting price for each offer is 50% of its original selling price, in this case € 200.00.

The bidder has purchased your offer for € 300.00. He receives information about his winning as well as a request for payment. The bidder receives a certificate from the Axel Springer AG via eMail. The bidder receives a gift certificate or an invoice in the amount of € 300.00 from you. The bidder has already payed this amount to the Axel Springer AG. Therefore, the invoice amount is regarded as compensated.

You can make use of your credit in the amount of € 400.00 in Berliner Morgenpost, DIE WELT, WELT am SONNTAG, or Hamburger Abendblatt.

Furthermore, Google AdWords campaigns reach a wide spectrum of prospects.

When will the auction take place?

The market place in auction-style starts on 20 April, 2013 at 9 a.m. and ends on 28 April, 2013 at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bidding is possible for 24 hours a day.

What kind of documents do we need from you?

The customer documents (complete contract, filled out by the customer) have to reach us until the closing date for participation on 12 March, 2013. The input of the offers into the database is carried out by the provider until the closing date for data input on 24 March, 2013.

Are there any specifics during the bidding process?

The minimum price is 50 % of the original selling value of a product or a service, according to the information given by the provider. Therefore, every offer has a minimum price. No bid is accepted below this minimum price.

Who resumes warranty and liability towards the bidder?

The contract is between you and the customer. The Axel Springer AG acts merely as mediator and provider of the online platform and does not guarantee any warranty.

How is your advertising credit calculated?

Independent from the final bidding value, you receive advertising credit in the amount of the regular selling value of your offer (without VAT), provided that your offer is purchased during the auction.

What happens if my offer is not purchased during the auction?

In that case, the offer remains with you. Consequently, you do not receive any advertising credit. Furthermore, the extensive media presence is completely free of charge for you, so that you do not take any risks.

Over which period of time can I use my advertising credit?

The advertising credit that you receive as a result of the auction can be used from 20 May, 2013 to 31 October, 2013 in the print titles Berliner Morgenpost, DIE WELT, WELT am SONNTAG, and Hamburger Abendblatt as well as online on morgenpost.de or abendblatt.de. Online publications on welt.de, third-party supplements and regional editions of Hamburger Abendblatt are excluded.
