Machine Specification

BELKI oil Separator type 301 Is a robust and simple Machine Manufactured to separate free oil from various processing liquids i.e. Degreasing Baths, Coolants and industrial waste water. Capacity up to 100 l/time.

BELKI oil Separator is an compact unit with an build in pump placed underneath the separator. Filter is fitted on the outside for easy service. The Oil Separator can be supplied with various suction devices suitable into any tank or liquid which has to be cleaned.

(4)

Functionality

BELKI oil Separator type 301 consist of four main components.: • Oil Separations part

• Suction part • Pump

• Oil container

Oil Separations part

:

Consist of a tank with partition which is guided from just above the bottom allowing liquid to run underneath. Inlet is shielded from the oil chamber with a guiding ring. Liquid level is adjustable by turning the small handle placed onto of the outlet pipe. Oil outlet has a fixed level.

(5)

Suction part

:

1. In this position the skimmer is in balance. No liquid is removed.

2. When starting the pump the liquid level in the skimmer drops then the skimmer is tilting forward and liquid runs in the skimmer. When the amount of liquid running into the

skimmer is similar to the amount of liquid which is sucked out of the skimmer, the skimmer will once again get in balance and holds position.

3. When liquid level drops in the skimmer it’s tilting forward. When liquid level in the tank variate the skimmer will follow the surface by tilting forward or backwards

4. When the surface is clean the skimmer prevents new solids to stay on the surface by

continuously skimming the surface.

Tilting skimmer

BELKI teknik has developed a range tilting skimmers for highly efficient removal of solids on most liquid surfaces.

We can supply suction devices who can cope with big level differences or to fit in very narrow places.

Samples of suction devices:

Floating tilting skimmer:

Suitable when having plenty of space and major level differences. The floating skimmer is especially suitable when the separator is moved from one machine to another.

Tilting skimmer with elbow ½“

Suitable for major level differences up to 1000 mm or even more

(7)

Pump

:

An electric driven membrane pump is build in the separator. The pump is self priming, running very gentle. It’s possible to connecting up with suction devices.

Oil container

5L. PVC container supplied with necessary fittings, suitable for overflow. When overflow hose is connected up the system is secured for i.e. oil to run back into the tank instead of flushing the floor. When liquids having difficulties separating the oil, it’s possible to use the container as an second separation step:

The level in the separator is to adjusted so that a minor stream of liquid is flowing into the

container, oil is now separated in the container. This can all so be done when having i.e. grease who won’t run out of the separator.

(10)

Machine prescription

Machine is suitable for separating i.e. solids from liquid.

Machine is mostly used for cleaning coolant on tooling machines, and degreasing baths, as well as other processing liquids with free oil on surface. If other applications this must be done in

consultation with the manufacturer

Mounting of unit

• When receiving the equipment please check for transporting damages on both the separator and accessories .

• Mount the separator so that it is placed in level, and outlet from the Separator is placed above level of existing tank.

• To obtain best possible flow in tank we recommend that return hose is placed in far end of tank away from the suction device

• Mount the suction device into the tank so that the skimmer can operate freely.. Then connecting up the separator and the suction device.

• Overflow from container is guided to the tank.

• Fill the Oil separator with clean liquid up to 5-10 mm below the outlet inside the separator. Start the oil Separator. If liquid is running out through the oil outlet please lower liquid level inside the separator by turning the level handle.
