Short Work Week,
Full Time Pay
Work 35 hours, get paid for 38. Bridge Housing employees enjoy a 7 hour work day or a 35 hour week.
Above Award Salaries
Staff are paid on average 14% above award rates in the relevant award: Social, Community, Home care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
Staff salaries are reviewed every year in July.
CPI increases are passed on to all staff every year (when announced by Fair Work Australia).
Salary Packaging
Salary sacrifice up to $15,900 from your pre-tax salary which significantly increases your take home pay.
Additional benefits to salary sacrifice meals, holiday accommodation and venue bookings.
Employees can salary sacrifice additional superannuation - up to the allowable limit which further increases their take home pay.
Fully packaged motor vehicles with assistance from Maxxia, our salary packaging provider to source the best price for the car of your choice. Packaged mobile devices including
phones and laptops from pre-tax salary when used for work purposes.
On top of all that, Bridge Housing will pay the administration fee to our salary packaging provider to manage all this for you, saving you over $220 per year.
Leave
Staff receive additional leave for any working day between Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Birthday Leave - Have a whole day off on us on your birthday.
Flexi time.
Study Leave - Take 2 days leave for each approved subject you are studying. Take your Long Service Leave
pro-rated after just 5 years, as opposed to the standard 10 years.
6 weeks paid Parental Leave after 1 year’s service and 3 weeks paid parental leave at the time of birth for non-primary care givers (this is usually for you Dad) – double the time off and take it at half pay.
1 day per year for volunteer’s leave. Take your Annual Leave and Personal
Leave as ½ days to help manage your personal responsibilities.
Up to 5 days leave in advance. Apply for up to 5 annual leave days before it is accrued.
Provision to apply for leave without pay and other flexible working arrangements.

Development
100% reimbursement of study fees for approved applicants.
Annual training budget equivalent to $1,000 per employee.
Separate budget for seminars,
conferences, professional subscriptions and memberships.
Individual annual performance and development planning.
