Cap Maison is a wonderful resort to hold what will be your very special day. We are here to provide all the necessary support and guidance to ensure that every little detail is arranged - from corsages to cake and flowers to favors. We also appreciate that every bride and groom have their preferences in creating a unique experience for their friends and family. We only cater to one wedding per month which ensures that your wedding will have our total attention at all times.
I have attached some guidelines which will help you to start planning and also some back ground information on Cap Maison and its facilities. There is also a sample of a budget template which you can use by adding in your expected guests numbers it will provide a guide budget for your event. You will notice that we provide a preferential rate for accommodation for weddings over 5 rooms and we will always provide a complementary upgrade for the Bride and Groom. Our chef has provided the attached menu samples for you and of course he would be willing to incorporate you individual favorites. You can also visit our website www.thecliffatcap.com to view dishes and sample menus.

legal documents required
It is very easy to get married here in St Lucia at our boutique hotel Cap Maison. You will need to have spent the minimum of 24 hrs on island and will need to bring the documentation listed below with you and complete the two attached forms and fax them back to Dey Myers on 1 (758) 450 8847 at least 14 days prior to arrival.

• DECrEE aBSOLuTE (if one of the parties is divorced)
• In the case of a widow/widower a DEaTh CErTIFICaTE of the first spouse is required as well as the original marriage certificate
• If a name has been changed, a DEED POLL is required if the client’s new name does not appear on their passport or divorce documents and they want their new name to appear on their marriage license
• If one of the parties is under the age of 18, evidence of consent of parents is required in the form of a SWOrn aFFIDavIT stamped by a notary Public (statutory declaration) as well as consent from their place of origin. also parents will need to be present at the marriage ceremony in order to sign all required documentation
• If any required documents are not in English, an authenticated translation must be available and stamped with a seal from their place of origin e.g embassy
procedure
The above documents need to go with the marriage license application. To make it easier and faster certain
information about the client can be emailed and documents scanned to start the process before you arrive on island. When you arrive on island, the paperwork can be read over for errors and signed.
