Online Credit/Debit Card Processing with RBS WorldPay
ONLINE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PROCESSING WITH RBS
WORLDPAY
Mamut Business Software enables you to accept payment by credit/debit card. Using the newest version of Mamut Business Software also enables you to undertake online transactions. This is possible thanks to RBS WorldPay.
Who/what is RBS WorldPay?
RBS WorldPay is an “online clearing house” that manages the entire transaction process when a customer in your e-store wishes to pay by credit/debit card. RBS WorldPay ensures that security is maintained, thereby preventing fraud. Furthermore, it is possible for you as a retailer and your customer to log on to the RBS WorldPay website in order to check the transaction. Read more about RBS WorldPay at
http://www.rbsworldpay.com/support/bg/index.php?page=login.
How does this solution work for you as the owner of a webshop?
All orders placed in your e-store, including orders where the choice of payment is credit/debit card, are downloaded in the normal way in Mamut Business Software. The only difference is that orders paid for by credit/debit card include a transaction ID, allowing you to trace the order/transaction via your RBS WorldPay account login. Please refer to the section RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface for more information regarding your RBS WorldPay account login. As soon as you have sent the merchandise to the customer, you can log on to the Merchant Interface administration system, indicating that the necessary amount can be debited (settled) from the customer’s account. This amount will then be transferred to your Merchant Account. Each week, the sum of your Merchant Account is transferred to your bank account.
How does this solution work for the customer?
The shopping cart checkout process includes selecting payment type and delivery form. Next, the customer will fill out the personal details before confirming the order. When this is confirmed, (given credit/debit card is selected) the customer is transferred to the WorldPay website, where credit/debit card information is entered. WorldPay will then verify this information and provide a payment status. For an OK result, the purchase sum will be reserved, but not debited (settled) from the purchaser’s account.
The purchaser will then receive a receipt on screen and by e-mail. This receipt will include a Merchant's Reference (Cart ID), a unique ID reference number for the order, and a transaction number. These numbers can be used to track the order through the WorldPay Self Service Account Login. The customer will also receive an order confirmation from the Mamut website by e-mail, given that the transaction was accepted in the RBS WorldPay system. Whenever a transaction is not approved by RBS WorldPay payment terminal, the order is not placed in your Mamut Business Software order system. However, if required, some customer and order details may be retrieved through the RBS Account Login.
Important! Please remember that initially, the purchase sum is only reserved in the purchaser’s account.
The full purchase sum will not be debited from the purchaser’s account and transferred to your account until you have dispatched the merchandise. As owner of the webshop, you must log on to RBS WorldPay, to capture the amount. You may also cancel the transaction or make a partial capture.
Please see the section RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface for more information.

HOW TO BECOME AN RBS WORLDPAY MERCHANT
All of the points below are described more thoroughly later on in this guide. Below is a brief overview of the procedure for becoming a RBS WorldPay merchant.
How to become an RBS WorldPay merchant
1. Install the latest version of Mamut Business Software. 2. Fill in the application form for WorldPay Business Gateway. 3. Send the required documentation to RBS WorldPay.
4. When you are approved, RBS WorldPay will open a Merchant Account for your company. 5. You will receive an installation ID from RBS WorldPay.
6. Log into your RBS WorldPay account/merchant interface, finalise your company settings (in “TEST” setup), and make sure the settings are in accordance with the description in the section RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface in this guide, to adapt it for use along with Mamut Business Software.
7. Enter your installation ID in Website Settings under the Payment Service tab in Mamut Business Software (Website settings). Be sure to select the Test purchase only (WorldPay) check box. Read more about this
here.
Important! When in test mode, the payment terminal corresponds to your test setup in your WorldPay
account, and not the production setup. When not in test setup, settings in production setup apply. 8. Publish your Mamut website and webshop.
9. Try placing at least one test order for an item in your e-store, selecting payment by credit/debit card as the method of payment.
Since this order is being placed in test mode, no real transaction will actually take place. You may use test cards as described in this online article.
10. When you have verified that credit card payments work as they should using test transactions, click the
Request Activation button in the Installations area of the WorldPay website to start the wizard, which will
initiate the activation of your live account. This might take a few days and involves verification of your setup from RBS WorldPay. Please confirm using this online article.
You will need to leave your credit/debit card payment options in test mode until RBS WorldPay has accepted your setup.
If your webshop already receives public traffic, it may be a good idea to rename your payment options (done in Mamut Business Software) in our checkout in a way so that you avoid getting live orders “paid” in test mode. (I.e. Credit Card - test mode, WorldPay Activation Team ONLY).
11. Receive an Account activation confirmation. RBS WorldPay will notify you when your account has been activated.
12. Log into RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface and duplicate your test settings to Production setup by clicking the Copy to production button in your test setup interface. See details in the section RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface in this guide.
13. Start Mamut Business Software and clear the Test purpose only (WorldPay) check box in the Payment
Services tab in Website Settings. If you renamed your payment options, you may now rename it back to your
wanted value. See details here. 14. Publish your entire website again.
You are now able to receive live transactions in your Mamut webshop. RBS WorldPay recommends that you check your site by running through the payment process using a live card.

Testing transactions
It is important to check that transactions function properly before you notify RBS WorldPay to have your account activated. To do this, you should run an order in test mode. This also allows you to see how the solution will look and work for the actual customer, before you receive real orders.
To set up the test mode, follow the steps above.
Make one or several test orders for payment by credit/debit card in your e-store to ensure that everything is working properly. Also, verify that you receive the regular order confirmation from Mamut.
Applying test to production and completing the Activation Wizard
Once you have tested and verified your RBS WorldPay setup, you must verify that your Production account has the same settings as your Test account that you just verified. This is achieved by using the Copy to
production function as explained in the section RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface. Then, complete the Activation Wizard. This will allow you to activate your real account at WorldPay, thus enabling you to complete live transactions. The Activation Wizard is available in the Installations menu.
When your setup has been activated, start Mamut Business Software and clear the Test purpose only

Using RBS WorldPay
USING RBS WORLDPAY
When your website and transaction solution are up and running you will be ready to take orders using credit/debit card payment.
RBS WorldPay Merchant Interface
The Merchant Interface for your RBS WorldPay Account is an online administration system at RBS WorldPay that provides you with an overview of all transactions executed along with the settings for your account. For example, you can search for a particular order or for all orders within a specific period. This is also where you log on to complete the transaction so that the purchase sum can be debited from the purchaser’s account. The URL of Merchant Interface at RBS WorldPay is
http://www.rbsworldpay.com/support/bg/index.php?page=login.

Employment of the Merchant Interface and questions regarding its functions must be addressed directly to RBS WorldPay. There are basic important settings that must be made in the Merchant Interface to set up the solution for Mamut Business Software. To enable RBS WorldPay to update the payment status after a successful payment, the so-called Payment Response URL must be set. This also enables the order to be downloaded into your Mamut Business Software order module as long as the payment was successful.
How to set a Payment Response URL
1. Enter http://www.mamut.net/controls/shop/shared/checkout/wp/callback.asp. 2. In the field Payment Response URL, make sure that Payment Response is enabled.
3. In the field Merchant’s shop URL, you may enter the address you want the customer to return to after a purchase is completed. This could be your Mamut website address or domain name.
Note! You may have to change the Capture Delay setting found in Profile - Configuration Details.
When using Mamut Business Software, this should not have the value Off. 4. Click Save changes to update your account.
Using RBS WorldPay
Please follow this sequence when making changes critical for the functionality of the payment terminal: 1. Make adjustments in the test environment.
2. Verify the changes using the test mode (Set in Mamut Business Software).
3. Deploy the test settings to the production settings using the Copy to production function at the bottom of the
Installation Administration web page.
Time of debiting
RBS WorldPay requires that the retailer does not debit the customer's credit/debit card until the merchandise has been dispatched to the customer. Instead, the amount is reserved at the time at which the transaction is effected on the website. The purchaser's account is not debited until you log on to your account and complete the transaction (provided that the merchandise has been dispatched). The purchase sum is then transferred to your Merchant Account, and later to your “real” account.
Transfers to your account will usually occur once a week, but because of credit/debit cards there will be a lag of about four weeks. This means that the income from a sale in for example week 1 will be transferred to your account in week 5.
Types of credit/debit card
WorldPay supports the following credit/debit cards:
Visa MasterCard American Express Diners Delta Solo Switch
Note! American Express and Diners:
In order to be able to accept these two credit/debit cards in your e-store, you need to apply to these credit/debit card companies for “Internet trading IDs”. As soon as you have received them, send them to WorldPay, and they will be entered into the system (not to be entered in Mamut Business Software).
RBS WorldPay transaction prices
There are fixed prices for establishing a WorldPay account and using the WorldPay transaction solution. You will find an updated price list at http://www.rbsworldpay.com.
