Remote Graphics Software (RGS) Support

VDE for Linux now contains support for Hewlett-Packard Remote Graphics Software (RGS). In addition to being able to support XRDP by detecting the presence of XRDP and conveying XRDP session information to the vWorkspace Connection Broker, VDE for Linux is now able to detect the presence of a properly configured HP RGS Sender and convey relevant information to the vWorkspace Connection Broker. This effectively allows Linux hosts (physical or virtual) configured with the HP RGS Sender to be managed as part of vWorkspace. With this capability, RGS connections from Windows clients running the Windows Connector for Quest vWorkspace can be made.

The RGS Sender must be installed on the Linux virtual desktop and the RGS Receiver must be installed on the connecting client access device.
