Terms and Conditions

Regular Payments

1. We will take the regular payment amount from your chosen account on the date that you have chosen or the next business day.

2. The minimum monthly payment amount is £50. 3. If you want to change the amount you pay or the

payment date, you can either write to us or call us. If you want to change your bank details, you may need to send an original bank statement (no more than six months old), or if you want to cancel the regular payment, we need five business days notice from the day that we receive your letter. All bank accounts must be held in your name.

4. If you change your bank details then we need a new Direct Debit Instruction Form. Please allow ten working days from us receiving either a new application or new

Direct Debit Instruction Form and us taking the next payment. If a payment falls within this period then we may not take it from your chosen account until the next payment date.

5. You are responsible for making sure that there is enough money in your chosen account when the payment is due. If we are not able to claim the full amount on three consecutive occasions then we may cancel the mandate.

6. Please note that the sum of your Regular Payments into your ISA over the course of the tax year cannot be greater than the annual ISA allowance.

This Guarantee should be detached and retained by the Payer.

The Direct Debit Guarantee

• This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that take part in the Direct Debit Scheme. The efficiency and security of the Scheme is monitored and protected by your own bank or building society

• If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, Barclays Bank PLC will notify you within 14 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed

• If an error is made by Barclays Bank PLC or your bank or building society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid

• You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your bank or building society. Please also send a copy of your letter to us.

Acceptable verification of your nominated

bank account details

To allow us to verify your nominated bank account, please send us:

• An original or certified copy of your bank statement dated from within the last six months which confirms your name as account holder, account type, sort code and account number of your nominated account.

Please note: we can now accept an internet bank statement provided it confirms your name as account holder, account type, sort code and account number of your nominated account, and is dated within the last six months. OR

• A letter dated within the last six months from your bank on headed paper which confirms your name as account holder, account type, sort code and account number of your nominated account.

Your nominated bank account must be a UK personal current account in your name and accept Sterling debits and credits and electronic payments. Business or Savings accounts cannot be used.

Certified copies

Certified copies are duplicates of documents which a person of professional standing has stated to be genuine copies of the original documents. The person certifying the document must:

• Sign, stamp and date the document and state in writing that it is a true copy of the original which they have seen • confirm their position (in line with acceptable

certifiers above)

• provide a contact telephone number or email address People who can certify documents are:

• Employees of Barclays Group or Barclays Wealth, including Barclays Bank counter staff

• Post Office certification service

• A government department, member of staff or official • A director, manager or bank counter staff of a bank or an

authorised credit or financial institution

• A director, company secretary or manager of an Approved Fiduciary Services Provider

• An Embassy, consulate or high commission officer in the country of issue

• A qualified lawyer or attorney, registered with the relevant national professional body

• A qualified accountant, registered with the relevant national professional body

• A notary public, a member of the judiciary, a senior civil servant or a serving police officer
