A Message from CEO Ray Brunner
The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association,
a statewide trade association, awarded WAC
the prestigious 2014 Dora Maxwell award
exemplifying outstanding community service
I’d like to recap 2013 and where we are headed in 2014. WAC had a success-ful year in 2013 serving our twenty thousand plus members. Unlike a bank, we are owned by our members not by 3rd party stockholders. This means that our main focus are the members of WAC and we offer not only competitive loan and savings rates, but products and services that bring value to our members. WAC offers as many products and services as most community banks. However, comparing the entire portfolio of our products and services, I believe we offer a much better value to our members than the banks offer to their customers. In 2013, our assets grew about $5 million to $192 million, while loans grew to more than $106 million, an increase of 7.00% from 2012. The growth in loans was driven by home equity refinance specials and indirect auto lending at the dealership. Our free checking account, without any mini-mums or banker small print, grew rapidly last year to almost ten thousand accounts. I’m really pleased to report that the number of products/services being used per member is around four. This is much higher than the competition and reflects our member driven value of products/services. For the seventh consecutive year, WAC was voted by the read-ers’ of the Beaver County Times the “Best of the Valley” in the category of Credit Unions/S&L’s. We carried on the tradition of distributing scholarships to graduating seniors at area high schools and at our annual meeting in 2013. On another positive note, an employee community volunteer pro-gram named W.A.C. Cares was started in late 2012, but the program really took off in 2013. Most of the WAC employees volunteered, throughout 2013, in numerous community events generously giving back to their communities. The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association, a statewide trade as-sociation, awarded WAC the prestigious 2014 Dora Maxwell award exemplifying outstanding community service! We will receive the award at the PCUA’s annual convention in May. We once again have an excellent home loan product fea-tured on page 1 of the Upfront. A fixed rate 3.25% APR for an eight year term with minimal closing costs. The experts have been predicting rising interest rates for the past year or two and I think they might finally get it right this year. So if you’re looking for a low cost home loan, this might be a good time to take advantage of this offer. If you are looking for a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), we presently have a low introductory rate good for one year with minimal clos-ing costs. Beginning April 1st, our Thursday evening hours for the lobby and drive-thru will change in the Beaver and Moon branches. The new closing time is 6:00 p.m. versus 6:45 p.m. The hours were reduced because of declining member transactions after 6:00 p.m. On behalf of the board of directors and the employees, I thank each of you for supporting your credit union. I hope to see you at the annual meeting on April 26th at Seven Oaks Country Club.1. NOTE AND COMPLETE

Payments from your IRA are subject to federal income tax withholding, unless you elect no
withholding.
You may change your withholding election at any time prior to your receipt of payment. To change
your withholding election, complete the appropriate form provided by West-Aircomm. Withholding
from IRA payments, when combined with other withholding, may relieve you from payment of
estimated income taxes. However, your withholding election does not affect the amount of income tax

payments are insufficient.
