From the Pastor’s Pen…
Drivers all know that a stop sign means stop. But, because we are clever at bending the law, we can soon convince ourselves that if there’s no traffic cop watching, and if we’re in a hurry, it’s OK to just slow down.
In today’s first reading, the Ten Commandments are delivered to us. And, because we are clever, we start bending those commandments to fit our needs. For example; “lf it’s under a dollar in value, it is not really steal- ing.” Or any of the other ways we sometimes stretch the commandments. Some “rule twisters” may feel guilty when they hear the responsorial psalm: “The law of the Lord is perfect.”
The prayer list in the weekend bulletin will be included ONE SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH. AS IT IS STATED: included in the list will be OUR PARISHIONERS in hospitals, at home or in care facilities. We pray for the sick and suffering at every Mass.

Lenten Dinner News…
THANK YOU! To all those who brought towels up
for use in the kitchen during these dinners.
We REALLY appreciate it!
GROWING LEGS...Unfortunately, after our first Lenten Dinners we realized some “things” found their way out of Saunders Hall Kitchen...namely about 100 forks & 100 knives, and a four 6” deep chaffer pans. If anyone “borrowed” any of these items can you please help them find their way back home...it has become costly to replace miss- ing items from the kitchen. Thanks for your help!
