1. The first meeting of IQAC started at 10.00 am, with welcome address by Dr. Dr. S. Nalini, Principal of the college.

2. The minutes of the last meeting held on 9^th February 2017 was confirmed unanimously by the members.

2. Dr. R. Sampath Kumar, IQAC Co-ordinator, presented the progress of the college since the last meeting.

➢ Department of Mathematics Sent a proposal to UGC to conduct the National Conference on “Dynamical Systems & Chaos”

➢ Department of History sent a proposal to organize One day International level workshop on “New Trends in Historiography”

4. All the members appreciated the faculty members who have attended Refresher / Orientation course and Faculty Development Programmes.

5. The IQAC co-ordinator read out the following achievements and activities of the College during the academic year 2016-17.

➢ Department of English organized One day Symposium on Orientation towards NET / SET Examinations” held on 07-03-2017

➢ Department of English organized an Inter-collegiate English Literary Meet, titled “ZOE 2017” on 28-2-2017.

➢ Department of Tourism and Travel Management in Association with the Dept. of Tourism Govt. of Tamil Nadu & Travel Agents Association of Coimbatore organized a seminar on “Tourism for All- Promoting Universal Accessibility” on 28-09-2016

6. The IQAC Co-ordinator presented the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for the year 2016 – 2017. The members approved the same.

7. All the members appreciated the steps taken by the management towards quality enhancement.

8. The meeting ended with thanks from the IQAC Co-ordinator.
