Dear Parish Family,
We are now entering the final days of the Lenten season. Next Sunday is Palm Sunday and the start of Holy Week. As we prepare to celebrate the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ let us lift up in our prayers the men and women in the RCIA process here in our parishes as well as those throughout the world. This is a special time for them as they prepare to enter the Church at Easter through the sacraments of Baptism, Conformation, and Holy Eucharist.
A reminder to all those who want to support the St. Michael Lenten Alms Giving Project that donations are due next Sun- day. All of the monies received will go to support the poor and needy in our parish and local community.
The repairs and restoration work continues at St. Michael’s. The new sidewalks and curbs have been completed and the fi- nal touches are being made to the new Preschool Room. Exterior work on the church is making good progress and a con- tractor has been hired to do the tuck-pointing work. Soon the school roof will also receive some much needed repairs. Again, I am grateful to all of you for your generosity that is making this work possible.
Some improvements have also been made to the school building at the HGA Oratory. This work was made possible through the generosity of folks who have a historic connection to HGA. The work will provide a beautiful space for anniversary, birthday, wedding, and many other wonderful family celebrations.
Some of the activities that I have coming up:
• April 10: Anointing of the Sick following the evening Mass at SP
• April 12: Anointing of the Sick following the morning Mass at SM God bless you. Fr. Vince

Heavenly Father, As I enter another week of my Lenten jour- ney, guide me to the path that leads to you. Fill my heart with gratitude, patience, strength, and peace as I strive to become the-best-version-of-myself, honestly admitting my shortcom- ings and sins. As I renew my resolve each day to become a better person, let me hear your voice in the deepest reaches of my heart. Give me rest in you. Help me to accept others, showing them your great love instead of casting judgment.
Stay with me through the busy days this week and remind me that when I need comfort, solitude, wisdom, or guidance, I can always turn to you. Help me develop discipline and generosity through fasting and almsgiving, and come closer to you through prayer this Lent. In your name I pray, Amen. (From Dynamic Catholic)

Youth Ministry Envelop Fundraiser and Flower Sale were very successful.
Thank you very much for your generosity.
It is apparent, based on the financial support that the members of Brookville Parishes want to have a thriving Youth Ministry Program. Even though financial support is essential, it is a MUST for people of the parish to physically volunteer to help with Youth Ministry.
Many of you may have considered volunteering and then you think:
• My schedule is so full now how can I ever consider volunteering to help plan and implement youth ministry meetings and activities.
• I don't have any background experience or training.
• My children aren't involved (younger or older).
• My children are grown.
• My teens aren't attending youth ministry.
• I don't have children or I have young babies (young married couples, college students, recent college grads).
I would like to present a model – CORE TEAMS, which would allow volunteers to be involved with youth ministry planning 2 to 3 times a year.
If you are interested in more information please contact Brenda Bertsch, via email [email protected], text or call 513-461 -1028.
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support.
A representative from the Brookville Parishes Youth Ministry will be at the St. Michael Ministry Fair on May 4-5, 2019.
Stop by their table and see how YOU can help build this ministry.
