We have a range of products and services that help you run your business easily, giving you more time to do what you do best - run your business.

1. Business Start-Up Current Account

Our Business Start-Up Current Account helps to make running your business easier. You can make and receive payments, track your transactions and manage your business’ cash flow, giving you total control over your business’ finances.

As a start-up customer you’ll get a host of benefits for 1 year, including:

 No account maintenance or transaction fees

 No overdraft facility fee

 Free set-up of new standing orders and direct debits

 Free standing order amendments

 Free stop payment instructions

 Free unpaid cheques/direct debits inwards

 Free ‘Businesscheck’ carbonised cheque book (Government Duty applies)

 Free replacement card charges (ATM/Debit card) (Government Duty applies)

All other fees and charges will apply to your account at standard rates including non-euro ATM and Debit (point of sale) transactions undertaken in countries outside the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.

Standard fees and charges, as outlined in the Schedule of

Fees and Charges for Business Customers brochure (as

may be amended from time to time), will apply at the end of

the 1 year period.

2. Visa Business Debit

The Visa Business Debit card allows you to access your Business Current Account wherever you are in the world. Visa Business Debit Cards can be used in over 200 countries in shops, at ATMs and online, wherever you see the Visa logo displayed.

Worldwide Acceptance - You can use your Visa Business Debit Card to purchase goods online, over the phone or in shops. Plus, many retailers in Ireland offer Cash back when you use your Visa Business Debit card to pay for purchases so you can access money from your Business Current Account without queuing at the ATM – giving you two transactions for the price of one.

Contactless Payments - The Bank of Ireland Visa Business Debit Card will allow you make purchases up to €15 in seconds. Just hold your card over the Contactless reader and wait for the green light and your purchase is complete!

Greater Protection – A Visa Business Debit Card is a safer way to pay – For example, you could get your money back if you do not receive goods or services purchased using your Visa Debit Card or your goods are damaged when they arrive.

3. Business On Line

With Business On Line, you can control your account from wherever you want, whenever you want. As a new

Business Start-Up customer, you won’t have to pay Business On Line monthly subscription charges for the first year.

You can use online banking to:

 View your account balances and transactions

 Transfer money or pay bills

 Make immediate or future dated payments to any company or individual

 Make international payments

 Search for or stop cheques

 View your credit card balance and transactions

 View your treasury deposit accounts

To receive 1 year’s free monthly subscription for Business On

Line you will need to register on the day you open your

Business Start Up account. This offer does not apply to

existing Business On Line customers, multi-companies

(company is within a group of companies) or Service Level

3 customers.

Business On Line transaction fees and charges will apply.

Standard Business On Line subscription charges will apply at the end of the 1 year period as outlined in the Business On Line brochure (as may be amended from time to time).

4. Business Quick Lodge

Our new Business Quick Lodge Card helps you to save time in your local branch by allowing you to deposit business cash and cheques using a special lodgement machine.

The Business Quick Lodge Card uses a simple PIN to make it easy to lodge cash safely and conveniently. You can even let nominees, such as other staff members lodge your business cash, safe in the knowledge that no other sensitive information about the account is in other peoples hands.

5. Business Deposits

We offer a range of business deposit options to suit your start up business – from instant access to business notice accounts, and fixed term deposits over a range of terms. Your Relationship Manager can talk you through your options and find the right solution for your business.

6. Visa Business Card

The Visa Business Card takes the hassle away from managing your business expenses and lets you make purchases wherever you see the Visa logo. As a new Business Start-Up customer, we’ll waive the annual card fee of €31 for the first year.

What’s more, you can avail of comprehensive travel insurance for 90 days for you and up to three colleagues when you pay for at least 50% of your fare with your Visa Business Card.

To apply for a Visa Business Card simply contact your local branch or log on to www.bankofireland.com/business/creditcards to download the application form, which, once completed, should be returned to your branch. Lending criteria, terms and conditions apply.

An annual fee of €31 per card will apply after the first year. This offer does not apply to Gold Visa Business Cards. Government stamp duty of €30 per annum per card will apply.

7. Finance

Whether you want to get new equipment, new vehicles or expand

your business, getting the right finance is essential, and can come

from a range of different sources, such as owner equity, bank

finance, venture capital or grant funding.

We have developed a range of lending products which include overdrafts, short and long term loans and asset finance to meet your funding needs.

Your Relationship Manager will talk to you about your finance and borrowing options to ensure you get the right solution for your business. Lending criteria, terms and conditions apply to all lending products.

8. Leasing and Hire Purchase

Leasing and Hire Purchase are among the best ways to acquire new and upgraded equipment, plant, vehicles and technology without tying up working capital.

As a new business start-up customer, you will be able to obtain a flexible repayment schedule to suit your cashflow on your first Leasing or Hire Purchase deal. We will also waive the Leasing or Hire Purchase set up fee on any new Leasing or Hire Purchase agreement over the one year period. Lending criteria, terms and conditions apply to Leasing

and Hire Purchase.

Please note: Leasing and Hire Purchase are unregulated activities.

9. Early Stage Seed Capital

Bank of Ireland has a number of funds designed specifically to meet the needs of start-up or early stage businesses. The funds can be used for expansion, to introduce new innovations, fund research or acquire new technology.
