Our Commitment
to Fairtrade
Our deeply-held values regarding coffee sourcing, roasting and
blending are very much part of who we are. We never compromise on quality so you don’t have to.
We travel far and wide to source the finest Arabica beans from approved or certified farms.
All our beans are carefully roasted in our Roasting Facility in Bewley’s Northern Cross, Dublin.
In recognition of our pursuit of excellence we are approved to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards. We are also proud members of the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe.
Bewley’s was built on the Quaker values of community, equality, honesty, fairness and integrity of character. It’s why we work with ethical trading organisations such as Rainforest Alliance, Utz Kapeh and Fairtrade.
We believe in living by our ethical trading policy so, for example,
we pay a premium for coffee at La Virgen Estate coffee farm in Nicaragua in order to provide accommodation, clinics and a school on the farm. And we get excellent coffee!

Coffees
Espresso
A great espresso is always a matter of taste that varies round the world. But for us, it’s about great body, a honey-coloured oily thickness when it pours out and a natural sweetness undercutting the strength and
bitterness. Topped of course by a rich crema that introduces the flavour as you drink. Our espresso blends consist of varietals from Brazil, Colombia, Central America and Indonesia.
Filter
We source the finest single origin beans to allow their unique and
delicate flavour to shine through. Our filter coffee is varied to offer flavours suitable for all palates.
Capsules
Bewley’s coffee capsules are a unique way of experiencing a superb quality cup of Bewley’s freshly roasted and ground coffee or tea – quickly and easily. Available in Espresso, Classic Long Black, Decaffeinated and Gold Blend Tea varieties, our unique capsules
seal in the full-bodied taste, superior quality and world-famous aroma of Bewley’s coffee that you’re used to.
Teas
To cater for all tastes our Master Blender carefully selects tea from the finest gardens in the world – Kenya, China, India and Sri Lanka. Leaves are selected on the basis of their appearance and infusion qualities
(flavour, colour, strength and briskness) to produce the perfect cup of tea every time. We offer a full range of string and tag, loose leaf and speciality teas.
Equipment
We offer a wide range of equipment to help our customers deliver quality coffee to their employees and visitors. Continuous work by our innovation team on equipment, brew technology and hot beverage solutions means that we offer the best to meet the needs of any office.
