Principal’s Message
Next week is our annual Piako Festival at David Street School. All the practice and rehearsal times are leading up to our time on the big stage. A special thank you to Matua Maia who has been working with us in preparing Team Tauhei. Thank you for returning the permission slips for the day, it is important that we have all of these returned this week so we can prepare for the day. I am looking forward to having our Team Tauhei Spirit on display again and having a chance for our great community to see us in action.

Josh told us, “We have tools on our wall like the helmet which is like our thinking hats and a spanner to show that we edit and tighten up our sentences.” We can use these tools in any subject.
In Fantails class Lila said, “Whaea Trinette has come to our school to help with teaching us. She has shown us books about Maui and the sun. We enjoyed listening and looking at the pictures in the books.” We loved have Whaea Trinette in our school.
