PERSÖNLICHES
Describe your profession
I am primarily a graphic designer but I also work as an art director. I’m mostly interested in
visual identities - from business cards to websites. I like to create and develop cohesive
visual systems. I also love typography, book design and all kind of printed materials.
Design is a powerful language and my task, as a designer, would be to help translate
cli-ents’ ideas and thoughts into it. My job is somehow to be a translator.
Your favorite color…
Green definitely. Oddly enough it’s not a colour I ever find in my work or closet.
One of my best memories as a child is my 10th anniversary when I got 10 little gifts that
were all green.
Favourite thing in your whole apartment?
My ‘Jieldé’ desk lamp. It is a gift from a family friend who was François Mitterand’s driver.
It was the old president’s lamp!
If you could show your work to one person, who would you choose and what would you
show?
I am tempted to say I’d like to show my work to some designers I admire. But I feel like I
would probably like to show mostly my diploma work to my grandfather I never had the
chance to meet.
My family always told me on how we would have been great friends. I would have been
curious to hear his opinion.
Who is your biggest influence (personal or professional)?
David Bowie, my grandmother, Philippe Millot (my typography professor).
