In part because of the research and development associated with developing a guaranteed 10 Gig system, SMP was able to generate a whole new product line for securing and segmenting network access while continuing to offer superior performance. The patented Limited Axcess™ RJ45 product line offers enhanced network security by providing physically restrictive access to the network using a unique plug and jack interconnect system.

These unique jacks offer an innovative security layer for establishing a physically restrictive network system through keyed configurations and locking keyed bezels. As an alternative to SMP’s unique UMJ jacks and adapters, SMP has created a Keystone product line to meet the demands of industry standard installa-tions. SMP’s Keystone jacks may have been designed to keep pace with standard installations, but in keeping with the SMP guarantee of excellence, every KMJ jack was created with SMP’s superior perfor-mance in mind. Each Keystone Modular Jack is component compliant to Category 3, Category 5e, and Category 6 standards and exceeds their respective category specifications. All KMJ jacks offer universal T568A/B wiring and 110 style punch downs for easy installations, making SMP’s KMJ product line a guaranteed connection.
