Filtering
•
If
your
Mailbox
or
Calendar
contains
many
items,
it
may
be
hard
to
find
one
item
in
particular.
Filter
lets
you
display
items
according

specific
criteria.
For
example,
a
filter
can
display
only
items
that
have
a
certain
word
in
the
subject.
•
Filter
does
not
actually
move
or
delete
items;
it
displays
certain
items
based
on
the
criteria
you
specify.
When
you
clear
the
filter,
all
the
items
reappear.
Filters
you
create
affect
all
folders.
•
The
basic
Filter
dialog
box
lets
you
filter
on
the
following
information:
From,
To,
CC,
Subject,
Message,
and
Category.
If
you
want to filter on additional fields, click
Advanced Filter.
Rules
You can automate many GroupWise actions, such as replying when you’re out of
the office, deleting items, or sorting items into folders, by using Rules to define

a set of conditions and actions to be performed when an item meets those
conditions.
When you create a rule, you must do the following: 1. Name the rule.
2. Select an event. The event is the trigger that starts the rule. 3 Select the types of items that will be affected by the rule 3. Select the types of items that will be affected by the rule.
4. Add an action. The action is what you want the rule to do when it is
triggered.
5. Save the rule.
6. Make sure the rule is enabled.

an
Address
Book

User
• 1 In the Main Window, click on the toolbar.
• 2 Right‐click the address book you want to share, then click Sharing. If the address book is not visible, you must open it by clicking File > Open Book. If you want to create a new book click File > New Book.
• 3 Click Shared with.
• 4 Type the name of the person with whom you want to share the address book, then click
Add User. If you do not know the name of the person, click . You cannot share address books across external domains.
• 5 Click each user’s name in the Share List, then assign him or her Access rights in the Access
group box.

• When you click OK or Apply, the person with whom you want to share the address book
