Thayer Honors Program
• Initiated in Fall 2013 with 25 plebes from class of 2017
• Currently, 60 cadets from ‘17 and ‘18
• Systematic academic assistance for underprepared Cadets
• Based on first-term academic performance
• Struggle adapting to the USMA academic rigors, but demonstrate excellent potential
• Voluntary program that coordinates TACs, instructors,
coaches, and CEP mentors in to address FYB cadet academic performance
