The Project

Naylors was founded in 1965 by Derrick Naylor and have since established themselves as one of the UK’s OHDGLQJHTXHVWULDQIDVKLRQUHWDLOHUV7KHLUȴUVW Magento site launched in 2011 on the Community platform and proved to be a hugely successful move for the company. As a result of increased growth and revenue, the site was redesigned and

replatformed again in 2013. The latest site was built responsively to improve the customer experience across all devices and take advantage of the buying RSSRUWXQLW\PRELOHR΍HUV

Bespoke modules were created for the site to improve user experience and SEO. These included a Brands module, layered navigation, Sales and New module. Integration with Feefo, a third party customer review system enabled customers to review their online experience with Naylors building credibility for the brand. We carry out ongoing development, support, marketing and design work for Naylors.

Objectives

To create a fully responsive site built on the Magento platform, in time for the launch of Charlotte Tilbury’s new make-up range.

The Project

Charlotte Tilbury has over 20 years’ experience as a make-up artist in the fashion and beauty industry, working with stars including Kate Moss, Rihanna and Penelope Cruz. Charlotte’s passion for make-up led to her creating her own luxury make-up range to be sold both in Selfridge’s stores and online. Charlotte Tilbury’s team met Space 48 at the Ecommerce Expo in London, and shortly after, chose us to design and build the Charlotte Tilbury ecommerce site.

The site was built responsively in order to improve customer experience across all devices and appeal to mobile users.

Objectives

To create a better overall customer experience and a more enjoyable customer journey on the Taps.co.uk site, with the aim of increasing average order value and revenue generated from the site.

The Project

Originally launched in 2010, Taps.co.uk sell an exclusive collection of taps and other bathroom products for trade and retail. In 2012, Space 48 helped Taps to redevelop their site.

Space 48 developed an uncomplicated, user-friendly site by incorporating a well-structured menu which helped to minimise clicks and improve the customer journey. We designed visuals for the site including banners, carousels, dropdowns and menus, as well as integrating up sell and cross sell on product pages. With the increase in revenue generated from their site, Taps are now planning to take the next steps in creating a responsive website to provide an even better browsing experience for mobile users.
