APPOINTMENTS

To schedule an appointment at our office, call 412-784-5770. Most appointments can be scheduled to accommodate patients’ needs. If you need immediate care, we will make every effort to see you that day. Call as early in the day as possible, so that we can adjust our schedule for you.

If you must change your appointment, contact us as soon as possible. This courtesy allows us to schedule another patient for orthopaedic care.

Every effort will be made to see you close to your scheduled appointment time. Although you may have arrived first, you may notice other patients called ahead of you. We try to honor a patient’s appointment time, rather than the order in which patients arrive. Patients requiring x-rays, casting, splinting, or bracing may be called earlier in an effort to use appointment time more efficiently.

Hospital Care

Our physicians operate at UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Shadyside.

Telephone Calls

If you need to contact one of our physicians, call the UPMC St. Margaret office at 412-784-5770. If you call during regular office hours, the staff will forward your message to the nurse or physician, who will return your call as soon as possible. If you have an urgent orthopaedic concern after hours or over the weekend, the answering service will contact the provider on-call. Prescriptions

If you need to refill a prescription for a medication we prescribed, call the office during office hours several days before your last dose. We will not refill prescriptions on the weekends or after normal business hours.

Billing

Burke & Bradley Orthopedics participates in many insurance plans and will file a claim for services covered under your plan. You will be asked to pay for services not covered under your plan, including copayments and deductibles, at the time of your office visit. Payments may be made with cash, check, or credit card.

We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to review your benefit plan.

If you want to discuss a payment plan, or have questions about billing, call the office prior to your appointment. Office Hours

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you wish to see one of our orthopaedic physicians, call ahead to schedule an appointment. All doctors see patients at UPMC St. Margaret. Dr. Bradley also sees patients at the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine.
