What It Is

The Fly-On-SMS software application is a tool to implement and monitor Safety Management System (SMS) Programs. It is designed to focus on issues relating to Hazard Identification, Risk Mitigation & the effective resolution of Safety issues. This version is specifically configured for small operators of General Aviation fixed wing aircraft & helicopters; however, it is fully compatible for scale-up & can be customized for aviation domains of Aircraft Operators, Airports, MROs, ANS/ATC, Regulators etc.

What It Offers Aircraft Operators

Driven by Gobal Safety requirements & operational demands, the application is optimized to assist aircraft operators to meet rising safety concerns & to comply with requirements of the Regulator, relating to SMS implementation.

Seamlessly delivers Safety related info to all stakeholders including Accountable Executives, Safety Managers, Pilots, Maintenance Engineers, Ops Managers, Aircraft Owners and others. Offers option to progress to a paperless safety office.

The application provides fast & reliable access, protects sensitive data, and delivers valuable enhancements over the entire life of the subscription. The system offers security. Quality Back-Office support of the application is provided by internationally accredited SMS implementers & audit staff to ensure that concerns of the customer are well cared for. The application would save aircraft operators vital SMS resources, in terms of Time to Implement, Efficiency in Service Delivery & most importantly human resource savings.

The Application can be used in the cockpit, with or without internet connection.

Technical Architecture The SMS software is a cloud based multitenant SaaS [Software as a Service] application.

At its simplest representation, as we can see in the diagram, that all tenants accesses the same

application which is hosted in a secure cloud.

Following are the keys benefits of our SaaS solution.  The application will be able to scale efficiently.

 There are functions in place to monitor, configure, and manage the application & tenants.

 There is a mechanism in place to support unique user identification and authentication.

 There is a mechanism in place to support customization for clients.

LAMP Stack Concept:

The application uses standard time tested LAMP stack which is the backbone for millions of applications worldwide.

With Apache webserver running on Linux server, with PHP as the server programming language and MySQL as the database server.

The Hosting house Web site is Trust Guard Certified. It is verified that the website is using at least 128-Bit SSL Encryption on pages where sensitive private information can be entered, such as credit cards, social security numbers, loan information etc. The expiration of the SSL certificates are monitored.

The database and application is highly secure. The highly scalable architecture will meet the growing needs of the operator.

With Web going mobile, we have a mobile app that runs in Android phones, IPad and Blackberry with key functions which can work on hybrid mode with connected and non- connected mode.

The mobile app integrates seamlessly with the web application, with hybrid mode of operation, ie the mobile app collects data even when not connected to internet and syncs back with the online web server whenever it gets connected with internet. This feature

helps the user to use the application anywhere in offline mode and sync back with server when he comes back to office/ airport/ home/ hotel.

User requirement:

User should have Firefox Browser 10.0 or above, Google Chrome Browser 17.0 or above, Safari Browser 5.1 or above.
