I originally applied to study at university, but was 60 UCAS
points short. So, I chose a different route to study the same
course, at North West Kent College.
North West Kent College is much closer to my home, making

Why did you choose to study Higher Education at the College?
I’ve always wanted to write and this presented a perfect
opportunity for me to hone my creative skills.
It’s not far from where I live so the travel expenses were less.
The study experience was on a one-to-one level, this isn’t
always possible at university.
What was the teaching like?
The teaching is engaging and fun and support is always on hand.

from my previous Further Education course.

I’ll be studying my third year at Avery Hill next year with a
view to go into PE Teaching. I’m currently working for North
